Clomid Advice

I am 50 years old and have been lifting weights since I was 14 years old. Six years ago, I took Anavar for 3 weeks. I also took it last year for a couple weeks. This year, I started feeling foggy and my wife said it looked like my chest was sagging. My body felt soft. Last week, I went to the specialist and my testosterone was 400. He said I might have gotten shut down from the Anavar or I just have low levels (I am not in the USA so I don't have to be 290 for treatment). My Globulin level was also low. For three days, I tool 12.5 mg of Clomid and I felt amazing. I stopped by a local hospital to get a blood test. My testosterone was 1600 and my Globulin had spiked to normal levels. I felt freaked out because these levels were too high so I stopped the Clomid and am going to wait and get retested. I can feel my testosterone level has come down but I still feel very good. I was very anxious before. I've changed my diet to high protein with red meats (I was mostly vegan before). I've also stopped drinking.

I don't know if anyone had similar experiences with such high spikes with Clomid. Luckily, I am in a country where blood tests are ridiculously cheap.

Thanks for the response Nelson. I was thinking of doing that but that really high testosterone reading scared me. My PSA is great (0.9) but I just felt like maybe there were other factors that were keeping my testosterone low since I can obviously produce a high volume of testosterone on my own. However, if I fall back down to a level where my well-being feels threatened (I get anxious and full of worry), then I am going to try 12.5 x 3 a week.

Thanks for all your help Nelson (youtube videos, book, etc...). It's great.

The other thing is my estrogen levels were very, very low. And the test just said <5 pg/ml so it was less than 5 pg/ml. My LH was normal. My SHBG was low and out of normal range but it jumped into a normal range after the huge increase in testosterone.

Tomorrow I am going to check my testosterone and estradiol levels again.

My testosterone is still high t 1532. The half life of Clomid is quite long and I did the calculations. It will be another 9 days at this level and then the levels in my system will cut in half but will be present for an additional 9 days. I won't be taking anymore of those pills. Man..........

Having your total T a bit high for a few days is not dangerous something to worry about. Give it a few days and try dosing every other day as Nelson suggested.

Why would I take it every other day if 12.5 x 3 straight days sent me this high for this long? I'm thinking my pipes were clogged in some way. I just want to see where I settle and make a decision from there. My gut feeling is I will settle in the 600-750 range. I've made all kinds of diet, supplement, and lifestyle changes as well..

What ever happened? I'm trying 12.5mg MWF and am just took my 3rd dose yesterday. So far I am feeling some improvement and am having higher libido.

My testosterone remained high even two weeks after that and then I lost my job. I haven't gone back to check. I live in China and eat a lot of chicken. They say the chicken is full of hormones say maybe that was it. I will have to go back and have my blood checked. But clomid made my balls tingle and it certainly worked.
