Can daily dosing Unesterified Testosterone in water base an option for hypogonadism?

Can daily dosing of unesterified Testosterone in water base carrier be an option for hypogonadism? I would like to get away from the oil carrier and the added ester in Testosterone Cypionate that has to be cleaved off by the liver. Can this work as a treatment for hypogonadism ?

This could be a viable option. However there are some suggestions that the testosterone crystals can be irritating. You'd have to see if this would be a problem with such frequent use.

One study on horses suggests a pretty long half-life for testosterone suspension — on the order of days. This may be dependent on the crystal sizes of the particular formulation.

According to the literature the cleavage of testosterone esters takes place in the bloodstream more than the liver, due to the presence of esterase enzymes. This is a rapid process, occurring within minutes.
