IGF? That's an odd one. I've been on TRT for two years and my IGF is way high. I actually took several tests to make sure I didn't have a brain tumor it's so high (425+).

Do u have high cholesteol or abdominal fat? Insulin n igf are closely related. High igf is a problem.

From this we might hope that stimulation of these receptors isn't vital in most cases. But that doesn't preclude subtle problems. Or not so subtle: Nelson says he has no libido without hCG. I find the sexual experience diminished in quality when I'm not on hCG. We will need large, long-term studies to find out whether LH suppression is causing other issues.

I can certainly attest to this in my situation. I've been on TRT over a decade and I have absolutely zero libido no matter what I have tried. This problem began 5-6 years into treatment and has only gotten worse with time. This seems to be a very common issue with long term suppression.

If test n estrogen is in check then u should look other parameters like ur insulin, waistline n obesity.

My cholesterol is slightly elevated, but nothing to be concerned about. I lift heavy, low reps, and eat a lot of protein, all considered to be likely causes of high IGF-1.

I have above normal IGF and also have high cholestrol. So thought ill just inform you. Do some research on high IGF1, you will come across some interesting findings.
