In conclusion, oral DHEA therapy in HIV-positive men significantly increases circulating levels of DHEA and DHEA-sulfate, free testosterone, dihydrotestosterone, androstenedione, and estrone and suppresses circulating concentration of sex hormone–binding globulin.
