I think all of those neurotransmitter boosting supplements are total crap and a scam to sell expensive and non-validated tests by the "functional medicine" world.

Nelson, exactly what are you characterizing as "nuerotransmitter boosting" ?I think all of those neurotransmitter boosting supplements are total crap and a scam to sell expensive and non-validated tests by the "functional medicine" world.
Yes, that is a comprehensive list and those are all great supplements that are well studied. My question refers to the notion that somehow neurotransmitter support would help regain lost libido on TRT as opposed to just being solid supplements for brain health... (again, for libido only, not for overall cognition improvement)

"nootropic" , "neuro-cognitive" yes lots of misrepresentation and it gets confusing. The benefit derived depends on one's overall individual need and their requirements at time of consumption. My personal health challenges are atypical of the general population. Supplements have most definitely and dramatically improved my quality of life. I'd like to take only what I need and in the minimum amount. Recent evidence suggests that we can lower incidence of Alzheimer and perhaps reverse it.
A huge leap here. Libido is complicated, aphrodisiacs elusive. Step one: Kill your tv. It's fast easy effective. Best of all it's absolutely free. I can visualize your libido getting a huge boost by joining one the social orders that visit homes to cleanse them of TV. Keeping your brain body and spirit healthy has got to be a prerequisite for Libido. Looking for more than an occasional transient boost in a bottle doesn't make sense.
Well possibly if trt is harming libido for some, nothing seems to overcome it , it seems.
Lots of studies and brief and don't go on for months so you don't hear "the results faded after x months".

imho if libido is lower on trt then it is naturally with low t trt is not managed rightTv?
I have started and stopped trt 2 times because after x months libidio dies off to worse than when I started.
Sorry but I watch maybe an hour of tv a month and its def not politics.
Libido going down or staying the same is very common, too many to know its not the trt.
really cool image, thanks
