Old topic but it just got my eye. I have been on trt four years now. First year without hcg and then next three alteternating on/off with it. Just finished 6 months period complitely without it and I have to say I felt absolte best in long time. I dropped anastrozole dosage tremendously and felt absolute best that I have ever fealt. Steel libido, solid rock hard erections and calm mood (alpha coolness) and packed nice gains at the gym for all that time.
About month ago I decided to put my boys back to live and mixed 5000iu of pregnyl to bac-water and took it 100iu ed with my trt. Results? Well I got easily irritated and I wass a dull joyless person.. a grumpy man I could say. Some sort of tickeling felt down there but not real libido. And no spontaneus erections. Well I upped anastrozole dosage and things got back to normall fealing but libido and good mood were lagging. Balls were bulged up but whats the benefit if you don't feal like using your package for action?
Well no its 8 days cince last HCG shot and suddenly the happy, sexual and energetic dude came back and haven't touched to AI in 4 days now.
So IMHO hcg will keep boys alive, but doesent change my dhea or pregnolone very much (I am primal so that might be the case...) but it increases my e2 sky high and anastrozole is powerless against testicle-based aromatisation..
So I do much much better without it.
Though, Taking one 5000iu (100iu ed) cykle one to two times a year can be benefical in long term to prevent testicles dying complitely..
