Another HCG/TRT question

Seems guys report different results when adding HCG to their TRT protocol. Some guys think it's great, others report little symptom improvement. I'm looking for what is similar in those who HCG seems to help most (while on TRT). My thought is the guy it hepls most is the guy who had a secondary diagnosis, who went straight to cypionate (without trying Clomid or HCG), didn't feel quite right on TRT alone, then added HCG in conjunction with TRT. I could be wrong. What do you guys think? What guys on TRT benefit most from adding HCG?

I don't think there is any "type" - it's just very individualized in terms of any noticeable feeling with HCG. It makes sense to use it regardless as it replaces something your body needs and why let your testies completely atrophy?

The subjective response varies from patient to patient. It is worth taking for the hormonal issues it addresses - if there is a benefit, so much the better.

I know HCG mimics luteinizing hormone and it fills those receptors, but would LH levels on bloodwork increase if you're taking HCG? Probably not because it's not LH?

As for HCG helping to increase the size of your nuts, for the majority of guys this must be true, however I've been on TRT for a couple years now with my testicle size unchanged.

My original labs at baseline showed both LH and FSH on the low end of normal. Looking back, maybe I should have tried clomid first.

James, you can still try clomid. I don't think everyone needs HCG. But I do believe most do better with it.

Vince - I've thought about giving clomid a go, but I've worked hard and have been extremely patient with different TRT protocols. I'm starting to feel better with each new tweak to my regime. Likely staying with TRT.
