Hi Everyone!
I've been back on trt for 2 months now after a year stint of using clomid, and everything is going great. The only issue I've been having is with injection anxiety and worrying I'm going to accidentally inject into a vein.
I'm injecting E3.5 days rotating between outer thighs and delts. I'm using 25g 1.5inch for my thighs and 25g 1 inch for my delts (Bodyfat is probably around 26%).
My first question/problem has to do with getting air out of the syringe prior to injection. I have watched a lot of videos on preparing the syringe and I feel my technique is good, but at the very end when I'm pushing out the air bubble with my 25g there almost always seems to be a leftover bubble that is fairly small just under the very base of the needle. This is even after drops of test have came out of the needle. My first question is should I be worried about this small bubble? And how the hell do I get it out of there w/o wasting my t by trying to keep pushing it out?
I'm also curious about aspirating properly. When I aspirate, I pull back on the plunger slowly, feel the vacuum and see a couple air bubble looking things enter the syringe. When I let go of the plunger the air bubbles don't seem to disappear as I've read they should. Is this due to the bubble that I was talking about earlier? Is the aspiration still fine, as long as I see no blood? Lastly, I had a weird thing happen to me twice where when I aspirated there was a string of blood that was very small in the air bubble. I pulled the needle out both times, changed needles, re-injected and was fine, but I've been reading that if you are actually in a vein the needle will fill w blood quickly and I've seen a video where blood is actually completely in the shape of a bubble. I'm just kind of confused on what I saw.
Lastly, I'm terrified of accidentally injecting into a vein. I've read stories ranging from it feeling like you're going to die and passing out to guys just having to cough for a minute or so. I'm only injecting 0.2ml at a time, so I think that wouldn't be enough volume to really mess me up. I'm getting very anxious over this, even though it's never happened to me. I just need a little reassurance that with proper aspiration and technique I'll be ok. Also, If anyone has gotten the cough I'd like to know how bad it is. I can deal with coughing my lungs out, but feeling like I'm going to die kind of freaks me out.
Thanks for all of your help!
