FSH: 3.4 (1.7-8.6) Age:26
LH: 3.3 ( 1.5-12.4)

Total Testosterone:598 (264-916)
Free Testosterone:14.8 (9.3-26.5)
DHEA Sulfate:311.7 (138.5-475.2)
SHBG:60.5 (16.5-55.9) HIGH

I am either thinking of trying clomid or just biting the bullet and going straight on TRT. With these levels would you try clomid first ? I have high SHBG so I'm not sure if clomid would work for me. Whatever level my testosterone has been at on the last three blood test I had my SHBG is always at the very top of reference range or higher.

My numbers were almost the same as yours. Not sure of your age, and/or children are a possibility in the future. So maybe that would be something to discuss with your TRT doctor.

I opted to go straight to T and HCG. I am pushing 50, so no more children for me.

I am sure more folks will chime in.

Your numbers are good. A good perusal of this website should show you how hard it is to manage TRT correctly. If I were you, I would stay TRT-free.

"Normal" doesn't mean very much. I ask because SHBG has something to do with the liver.

This ^^^. My family doctor claimed all my labs looked good. But I had fatigue, low mood, put on 10 lbs in about a year and just was not feeling it with my workouts.

So I opted for TRT. I am about 13 weeks into it and do feel better. Have some fine tuning to work at, but so far I am good with my decision.
