There are a lot of articles that say vitamin K2 mk7 helps keep calcium out of arteries and puts it in the bones.
Wife and I take it. Prior to starting on the K2 my wife had a CAC score of 1500+. Haven't had it retested since. Runs in her family due to elevated Lp(a). Lipoprotein a.
I have no answers but here is what I do know about Lipoprotein a. It is hereditary and stays pretty much at the same level throughout your life.
I DEMANDED my wife's doc do a Lp(a) test. I had to cause a lot of trouble before they agreed to do the test. It came back at about 70, normal should be...
I was curious what everyone's experience was with a steady T level versus a protocol that has a trough maybe 30% lower than the peak.
Example: protocol #1 low of 1,000 and high of 1,100 versus protocol #2 low of 800 and high of 1,100. In terms of libido and sexual function which is better in...
I've been on T cypionate for around 10 years. My PSA has gone from .54 to .82 I am 66 years old. I would be taking 20mg of lycopene daily with a good fat like olive oil or avocado. Just read a study that said lycopene from salsa was 4.4x better absorbed if the salsa had avocado in it. Due to the...
Most studies concerning DHEA don't measure estradiol however the few that do have seen an increase in E2 from the DHEA.
So any changes you might notice could be from the DHEA levels being higher or from the E2 being higher.
I have tried PT141 with slight side effects. Just a little queasy feeling but not bad or bothersome. However I only got a small boost in libido using 1-2 mg subq. Don't think it is worth the money for me.
I read this study on pubmed and was going to post it but it's here already.
I think the short version of the study is that libido is enhanced #1 by increased estradiol and #2 by DHT. Or both is better. They never state any specific numbers/blood levels but just talk about increase from mean...
Thanks for the input. As I said I have just switched from T cyp to the T prop EOD this week. That was my question, ED or EOD, so I may switch to ED. As I said it is to early to make any decisions but the T prop does seem to make me feel different. The only thing I ever got from the T cyp was my...
Thanks for your input. I retired 4 years ago. Life long truck driver, last 13 years driving a car transport. Loading and unloading cars all day long, lots of walking, climbing up and down on the truck. Since I've been retired I work around the house, cutting trees, working on the cars etc. Last...
Greetings to everyone on the boards. I've read many posts here sporadically over the last few years but decided to hop on and hopefully get some guidance on my TRT journey. I've been on TRT for 10+ years and have never really gotten the benefits I expected. I originally tested sub 300 T, low...
