Testosterone Cream- Scrotum VS other areas

Oh, I am on the goo alright. Restarted a few days ago. So far, feel ok. Just gotta play the long game and remember how crappy non-anemic iron deficiency feels... Typically, when I use cream, it's scrotal. I suspect that the peaks are a crap ton higher than if if I apply to the arms. I have some...

Testosterone Cream- Scrotum VS other areas

Yes. I have been having lots of issues with this. Had to donate recently because hematocrit was 55.3. To make matters worse, my ferritin is suppressed, and I have severe symptoms from that. Trying to treat it with iron worsens the hematocrit problem. The Vorck protocol did not provide any...

Warning for Men on TRT: Low Ferritin is Bad

I know you weren't asking me, but I tried it x5 days and saw no benefit and no change in ferritin. I was fairly diligent with timing, but not perfect. Probably biggest criticism would be not timing perfect around food intake.

Warning for Men on TRT: Low Ferritin is Bad

@Nelson Vergel, I was not totally clear. The short answer is "yes" - my hope is that candesartan can help keep hematocrit in check. When I said I use it as a preventative, I meant for migraines. But, my hope is that I get the added benefit of reduced hematocrit. I have read reports of other...

Warning for Men on TRT: Low Ferritin is Bad

This is interesting to hear that someone else out there has made similar observations as me! I sometimes think I am a unicorn. I have pulled labs a few times after Natesto and numbers are typically pretty low - maybe near 500 or so. My guess is that we are not seeing the peak. Or, it is...

Warning for Men on TRT: Low Ferritin is Bad

Well, I have a completely unscientific anecdote with an N of 1 and too many variables to make this meaningful, but I thought I would report the following out of interest. Maybe we can get some volunteers to validate my observation? Summary: I have had fatigue for over a year (sometimes...

Warning for Men on TRT: Low Ferritin is Bad

I keep replying and for some reason, it won't post. My apologies if this is a repeat. Great stuff. I have more to share but want to wait until I have more information. Meanwhile, any advice on avoiding the GI distress? Does black, liquid sludge come to mind...?

Warning for Men on TRT: Low Ferritin is Bad

Hey, you and I had a conversation about this in another thread. I tried to find it, but can't quite locate it, so I figured I'd follow up here. In the other thread, I had questions about whether or not your protocol relieves symptoms? You commented that, yes, many guys have gotten good symptom...

Should I be starting TRT? (I'm in a predicament, this is why)

Speaking from experience, once you start TRT it is very hard to go back for some people. I recommend losing weight, reassessing how you feel and reevaluating your numbers and then make a decision. Once you let the genie out of the bottle, you may have a whole new set of problems. On the other...

My Experience On Jatenzo (Oral TRT) Log

Wow. This is a big deal for The Ambassador. I truly wish you the best of luck. I think Natesto is a very good choice. Circle back in a while and let us know how you are doing. I am happy to give tips if I have any. Not on it now, but took it for a long time. It can work very well for you.

First post. Can’t get E2 under control, starting to worry

I have some purely anecdotal but, in my opinion, interesting observations I’ve made while on Xyosted for the last few months. I pulled labs a few times and compared them to levels I achieved while on other forms of TRT, such as cream and standard enanthate. The results are somewhat surprising...

    Ferritin Levels beyond low...

This is really good information. At the end of the day, we are all here to address unwanted symptoms, and it sounds like your protocol does that. By the way, your efforts are admirable. You put a lot of energy into learning the nuances of iron metabolism and could have kept that information for...

    Ferritin Levels beyond low...

Hey, man. I have been trying to reply in the other thread, but my browser is acting weird and I can't seem to reply. Yes, I have seen your protocol. I have to read it again (there is a lot there), but it appears the actual protocol is straight forward. Maybe it's on your page (I have to read...

Lipids / Iron / Ferritin Labs

I don't disagree. But, any lab that represents the body's physiologic response to a donation would not have occurred yet. I'd have to ponder it more closely, but I would venture to guess that some labs are affected while others may not be (slower to respond values).

Warning for Men on TRT: Low Ferritin is Bad

So, I went down a massive ferritin wormhole today and ended up here. I have been thumbing through the discussion only to learn we don't have a lot of definitive guidance here! I have been battling fatigue for about a year. Have been working on systematically eliminating various medications I...

Lipids / Iron / Ferritin Labs

The article your reference above is very interesting. I would love what he describes to be true for me (so I can solve my fatigue by supplementing iron). But it's a case series of one internist.

I hear you, brother. But, I also understand some of your position on iron has changed recently?

Lipids / Iron / Ferritin Labs

There are so many threads centered on ferritin, so I decided to pick one to throw out some questions, rather than start a new one. Question #1: Do we all firmly believe that low ferritin without anemia can cause symptoms (fatigue, brain fog, etc)? Question #1a: If so, how? Question #1b: How...

Natesto: large shards UPDATE- batch is all bad.

@madman, I remember this, but do you think it has anything to do with what the guys are describing here? As I alluded to above, I have crystals in most of my tubes. I always assumed it was normal for them to be there. It is altogether possible that I was wrong and never knew it. I have a crap...

Natesto: large shards UPDATE- batch is all bad.

At some point, I can invest some more time at updating you and everyone interested on my prior experience. To summarize: you guys may be onto something. I am no longer using Natesto for a few reasons. Fortunately, for me, I did not have your experience. I did have a positive response. However...

I used it for years. I assumed crystals were normal and never gave them any thought.

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Thanks, man. Hope you are doing well.

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Yes on Xyosted. I have from time to time and am on it again. Cream was great at times. But, after six months, I felt like I was chasing consistency and could never quite find it.

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

I tend to stay away from anything other than Xyosted. To my knowledge, it's pure testosterone in oil. I don't know if they use an excipient to dissolve it, but if they do, it does not show up on the label. Meanwhile, which of the nasties are the nastiest in your opinion: benzyl benzoate...

    Natesto Application

My guess is that it's the sharp fluctuations at play? Three quick peaks a day. Natesto does not really bump DHT or E2 much at all.
  26. F

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Agreed. It’s surprising. I think there are a number of variables that can cause fluctuations, including the batch strength, how you apply it and how much comes out with each click. From day-to-day, the amount that comes out per click is inconsistent for me. Also, how much you dry off after a...

Trans scrotal testosterone cream application is a game changer

Question for @RobRoy about absorption: Do you think it is possible for absorption characteristics to change over time? I have been on a consistent dose of scrotal cream for about 5 weeks. The same dose in the past, applied the same way, made me feel crazy and my labs were all out of whack. This...

Something for focus and clear brain fog if not a candidate for TRT

I think your use of the term “brain fog“ may not be completely in line with what most people are describing when they use that term. Sounds like you have a lack of focus and/or concentration? Do you think you could be experiencing anxiety?
