No HCG, I had major problems with estrogen and anxiety on it. No I don’t donate blood but I run in that range for hematocrit and hemoglobin regularly. It’s been about the same for the past several years even when I was on just clomid. Both Urologist and primary care physician weren’t concerned...
Hey everyone!
I've been on my current protocol since June of 2017. I had bloodwork in between these most recent labs which didn't include the sensitive E2 test. My estrogen using the regular E2 test was similar to what is now. I don't have any overwhelming estrogen side effects but I've...
I wear one for deadlifts and squats, I always liked the support it gives and I feel I can brace better. Gives me a reference point to expand my stomach against. Not sure if that makes sense but I always feel more stable with one on.
3 and a half weeks in and things are going great. 60mg every 3.5 days. Went to 60 for a nice round number in the syringe, right on the line instead of guessing somewhere in between. A few more weeks and I'll get blood work.
Appointment went great. I saw Dr. Melograna, he's a urologist out of Greenbelt and Annapolis, MD. Great guy and knew what he was talking about. Advised against the 10 day protocol. I've since switched to splitting the dose and doing my injections every 3.5 days. I'm only a few weeks in but...
Thanks, I assumed that would be the answer but I figured I'd just ask. Do you have a thread that has more info on you're current protocol? Blood work, etc? I know everyone is different but I'd like to hear more from guys who have been on trt for several years and what they do.
Back to the topic....I'm only a week into splitting my dose and I'm starting to feel like crap. Any thoughts? Most noticeable is my energy is down a lot. Just to be clear I went 10 days between an injection then switched to splitting the dose and every 3.5 days. My injections were a little off...
That's a huge help to have a visual, thanks! Pretty obvious which one would produce more stable levels looking at the charts. Now I'm just curious what that level is going to be injecting every 3.5 days.
Oh and I felt great on HCG mono for the first couple months...but then it all went down hill after that, I suspect from the high E2 and then from the possible low E2 later from way too much Adex.
I quit the HCG because honestly I don't think my previous Dr. knew how to manage HCG mono. The starting dose was far too high and even as we tapered down my E2 was continuing to creep up. Also once my E2 was in check using Adex my mood, water retention and anxiety were still out of control. She...
At the time I had my insurance covering the HCG. There was a little known thing about HCG and the insurance company at the time. If your doctor called it HCG on the prescription the insurance would deny it but if they used the generic name listed on the insurance companies list it would get...
Found a good Doctor finally! He advised against injections every 10 days, for now I'm going to split the dose and inject every 3.5 days and retest. New labs will include SHGB and he was able to explain why we should check it.
Yeah worth a shot, it took about 3 to 4 weeks after dropping HCG before I started feeling something positive. Your test dosage might need to go up though if you're dropping the HCG. When I was on 100mg of test per week plus 250iu's of HCG 2x per week my total test was 1205. So when I dropped...
I'm just curious, for you guys who don't feel anything good from TRT...are you on test and HCG? I'm far from being dialed in with my protocol but I didn't feel anything positive until I dropped the HCG and went with just straight test cyp.
Do you happen to have a thread with recent labs and what's your protocol if you don't mind me asking? I'm just looking for some insight on what seems to work.
I was on HCG monotherapy in the past, 400iu's is far too low of a dose. The lowest I ever went was 800iu EOD...at one point early on when I just started I was doing 1500iu's EOD. I know you have some health issues so it might not have made a difference but I've never heard of such a low dose...
Couldn't agree more. I have a herniated disc at L5/S1. As long as I stretch often and do press ups I'm good, but if I skip too many days my back will tell me. For me stretching my hamstrings is the biggest help.
I actually did really well on Clomid for a while. That was after I tried HCG monotherapy and did horrible on that. After almost 2 years on Clomid I felt like things were declining and luckily it was time to make the switch to testosterone. My levels on Clomid were always good but my biggest...
I found another urologist that's within driving distance. They were suggested on this forum so I have an appointment coming up next week. I'll let you all know how it goes. As a side note I'm on day 10, the day of my next injection and so far I've felt fine all week. No huge crash or lack of...
