Correct. We have been following this since its inception at Frank talk. I remember when it was first announced and the mode of action was described, I thought, this sounds like a scam. As it turns out years later; not one positive review yet on the forum.
I recently tried Rectogesic cream on the...
All the reviews so far on Frank talk (ED forum) have been negative. The guys there have been following this since its inception. We were all highly skeptical about its efficacy.
Please do let us know how it performs for you.
In my humble opinion; you may be comparing apples to oranges here.
Men using very high dosages of anabolic steroids or testosterone are in a different category to those on TRT.
The very strong stimulation they effect, may do unusual things to libido via different pathways on a very temporary...
I also wonder about adding Lidocaine in the preparation and what that does to sexual sensitivity in the penis? We use Lidocaine (with two other similar meds) as a topical anesthetic for facial C02 laser resurfacing in my clinic! So you can imagine how it helps to numb the area very well! I...
I think all the hormones that comprise sexual function play a part in libido. Especially the sexual drive a male feels in his loins.
The diurnal variation of testosterone is I feel a key factor here. The stronger peaks and drops a young male experiences each day may be the mechanism by which...
If you ordered this from India with no prescription, who knows what you actually received. I certainly would not be using such a temperamental medication from a dubious source! There certainly was a chance it had no potency.
Why is your clinic advising you to take such high doses of testosterone?! The standard dose of T used to be 80-100 mg per week. No wonder you had issues with estrogen and over time many other issues could develop.
Would this protocol not deprive the body of testosterone if no testosterone is also being administered? It will shut down natural testosterone production. The penis for example, relies on the molecule testosterone in order for essential maintenance to occur. Nandrolone is not the same chemical...
Ok, definitely worth considering as I get none of the estrogenic side effects from Ovidrel as I noticed at times with urinary hCG. Plus it does not degrade like urinary hCG does too. It is a much more stable compound in liquid form.
You have provided more information here. It appears you were on hCG too for the duration and then increased that from 250iu to 500iu 3 times a week. Was the 500iu of hCG at the same time as the Sustanon? Sorry this was not clear in your post above or in your previous posts.
For some men, 3 x...
Ok, so that means 0.29 x 125 mg = 36mg x 3 =108 mg/week. This dosage gave you a T level of 38 nmol/l (8.6-29)! Not good.
You have not mentioned the labs for when you were on Sustanon 250?
Sounds like you are in the UK or AU with lab readings like this.
I think you did eventually experience...
Happy to help!
I see with that attachment your Cypionate is actually 250 mg/2ml. Your first post says this: "I switched doctors and went with test cyp and the dose was 0.29ml 3 x a week. That's 250mg/ml."
So my calculations were based on that, not at 2ml.
Your dosage is therefore not nearly as...
My thoughts: Too much testosterone.
I realise you have dropped your dose down to 0.22ml 3 times a week @ 250 mg/ml, however, this is still what I would call high (Why is your thread titled at 100 mg per week?)
55 mg, 3 times a week equals 165 mg a week. If I was to take this much testosterone a...
This would depend on why your body was only producing a small amount. The fault appears not to be with your testes. It may be due to insufficient stimulation from the pituitary, as I see you were diagnosed with secondary hypo.
This may mean your testicles could respond quite strongly to hCG.
The other point to consider here, depending on whether your initial diagnosis was primary or secondary hypo, is that you may need to lower your T dosage, once your testes resume testosterone production. hCG can produce a reasonable amount for some men and this may push your T levels too high...
The guys over at Frank talk (ED forum) have been discussing this new proposed over the counter ED med for a couple of years now with much skepticism. Now that it has been released in the UK, it will be interesting to hear how it actually performs compared to the studies Futura completed.
I can't...
I wonder if this is connected with the possibility that testosterone replacement can increase levels of SERT in some individuals, thus lowering the amount of serotonin in the synapse.
I was discussing this with another member in this thread...
Your estrogen levels must be recovering and you are no longer on excessive doses of testosterone. hCG will not be generating anywhere near the level of T you were experiencing on that amount of testosterone you were injecting previously.
As the others have mentioned Arimidex is a very powerful...
If you were prescribed 10 mg for on demand use and you have not used PDE5i much in the past, I personally would not go over 5 mg a day, every day. This dosage will build up given its long half life, hence why Cialis got its name as the weekend pill. You could even try just 2.5 to begin with. 10...
Great to hear ATL. Sometimes all that is needed is some basic lifestyle and diet changes and our body does the rest!
I would continue with your current improvements and the sensitivity may improve also over time. You could also try Boron as a supplement as it has the potential to lower SHBG...
Very interesting. I have read that Tamsulosin (Flomax) can cause ejaculatory issues. Did you experience this at the higher dosage?
Did you try Doxazosin at a lower dosage also or just move to Tamsulosin?
Are you taking it at night to avoid side effects during the day or just for before sex?
I...
Yes, your dose can still be lowered. If it were me, I may have stuck with the twice weekly injections so as to avoid changing to many variables at once and just concentrated on lowering the dose further first, to see if your symptoms improved.
It is interesting to see that you are still...
When I read your initial post, the first thing that came to my mind is that perhaps much of what you are experiencing is aging combined with a lifestyle that could be improved.
When we are younger our bodies can deal with the not so good diet and lifestyle a lot better than after 40. That's not...
