That’s a hell of a day! Looks like you have a very healthy, well thought-out diet. The morning smoothie, in particular, sounds great.

    Nashtide is gonna lean bulk...

    For sure. Here is a run-down from today (non-exercise day) and yesterday (lift day): Today (non-exercise) 6 a.m. -- "Light" cup of Bulletproof coffee 1 (1/2 tbsp butter, 1/2 tbsp coconut oil)* 1 p.m. -- "Light" cup of BPC 2* 3 p.m. -- 12 oz. chicken breast 5:30 p.m. -- 12 oz. salmon, 2 cups...

    Nashtide is gonna lean bulk...

I've been doing something similar. It's much like the approach in Jay Campbell's Metabolic Blowtorch Diet: fast and eat keto-ish on 'rest' days, carb up and eat more heavily on lift days. On rest days, I often fast for 24 full hours (dinner one night to dinner the next) and only consume...

    When you first started TRT

I am measuring E, actually -- but yes, having an AI on-hand is like a worst-case scenario in case E side effects get out of control. After reading a lot on this forum, following the roundtable, etc., I've become convinced that in a normal TRT protocol, E should usually not be restricted. I plan...

    When you first started TRT

I think spreading the dose over 2 applications would actually be less convenient. You still need to wait for it to dry, and it impacts shower times. I personally work out in the morning, shower, then apply the cream. Then I walk around in a bathrobe for 10-15 minutes as it dries; my wife thinks...

    When you first started TRT

This is a good summary of why I started with the cream. I travel a lot for work, and cream is just easier to pack. As @S1W noted, though, it can be annoying waiting for the cream to dry. And I can echo the point about crashing at night but it feeling good -- I enjoy that.

    When you first started TRT

My endo was hoping to try this before committing to (potentially) a lifetime of exogenous T, as I am 27 years old and otherwise quite healthy. But after 9 months, I was not seeing any results -- if anything, my symptoms had gotten worse. And, having done my homework, I was convinced T would be...

Lol. That's the strange thing: I would've considered myself far from vain before.

    When you first started TRT

Here's a question that I know will sound strange and douchey, but going to ask anyway: I often read about heightened confidence on TRT. I've definitely experienced that -- I've just been more assured and assertive. But did any of you experience a boost in your perception of your physical...

    Starting TRT on a Cut?

Interesting point. I should have noted that I am on a training regimen, lifting 4 days a week, and make sure I hit at least 10K steps a day.

    Starting TRT on a Cut?

I've received endocrinology treatment for about 9 months now, but just started TRT 1 month ago. I'm going on my honeymoon (viva la Mexico!) in March, so I've been cutting for that. This may be in my head, but it's seemed a lot harder to drop weight since introducing exogenous testosterone...

    When you first started TRT

Hi all, I'm curious about your experiences. What do you remember about when you first started TRT? When did you start noticing the effects, and what were those effects? Did they remain steady, go up/down? I am only one week into testosterone application (cream applied trans-scrotally) after 9...

Anything Different About Working Out on TRT?

I have to say, I'm only 2 workouts in, and only halfway through the book, but this program is awesome. I love the ways he puts emphasis on rest and intensity. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something new. And you can get the book for free with a trial of Kindle Unlimited, which is what...

    Cream/Injectable Dosage Conversion

Hi all, Can someone fill me in on dosage conversion between injectables/creams? For example, I currently have 200mg/ml cyp cream. My prescription is 1-2 clicks per day, or .25-.50 per day, working up to as many as 4 clicks per day. While speaking with a different doctor about my situation, he...

Relationship Between Estrogen & Spleen Discomfort?

Update: it's gallstones. Glad it's not something more serious. Anyone have experience with these? Advice would be appreciated!

Anything Different About Working Out on TRT?

Thanks for weighing in. I downloaded the starter guide and plan to start on this program tomorrow. It coincides perfectly with the start of my T protocol, and the information looks great. Thanks! So, from your perspective, the book is definitely worth the buy?

TRT and Why it often Doesn't Work

@YBWV, thanks for this really interesting, well-thought-out post. I'm new to the world of TRT, and I was prescribed 200mg/ml T cream, which I plan to apply trans-scrotally starting this weekend. However, after reading your explanation, I am thinking a mixed approach may be superior. My...

Anything Different About Working Out on TRT?

Love this advice -- I'll look into it. I'm not seeing anything for "Kethnaab," though. Would it be under a different name?

Relationship Between Estrogen & Spleen Discomfort?

You're right -- I am reaching :) I went to see a doctor today, and he ordered blood tests for pancreas/CBC/liver/kidney functions, including Lipase. He also ordered an abdominal ultrasound, which I'll have tomorrow morning. I should receive most of the bloodwork results today, with Lipase coming...

Relationship Between Estrogen & Spleen Discomfort?

I've done some research and think this may be pancreatis. Anyone here have experience with that? Interestingly, pancreatic issues are often tied to alcoholism, and when people see my crazy high SHBG (>100), they often ask if I over consume alcohol (I never drink). Also interestingly, "estrogen...

Relationship Between Estrogen & Spleen Discomfort?

Hey all, High SHBG guy here. Before I began treatment, I had a constant (not too bad, but annoying) discomfort/pain over my spleen for about six months. I saw a few doctors, but none of them could figure out what was wrong and said it may be psychosomatic. In May, I started on hCG and an A.I...

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

Like @Gman86 wrote, "Not saying correlation equals causation or anything, but it seems like there’s a possibility that estrogen is playing a role." I don't think anything has been proven. Interesting theory, though. Wouldn't wish an autoimmune disease on my worst enemy.

Anything Different About Working Out on TRT?

Thanks for all the help, guys! This is great info and discussion. Yep, I'll be on 200mg per week. From what I've gathered, that is a pretty substantial dose. TRT typically goes as high as 300, correct? Anything beyond that seems to me like AAS, but I could be wrong. I totally understand that...

Anything Different About Working Out on TRT?

Hi all, I will soon begin my first round of TRT (200 mg t-cyp). I have high TT, but also astronomical SHBG (> 100), so much of it is bound. I think my wacky hormones are the biggest reason that, despite weight training 5-6 times a week and eating well for nine years, I have made minimal gains...

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

You make some great points, though if you had tested my TT at 25, it would have read 1200 -- but my SHBG was binding almost all of it up.

Anastrozole needed with Tamoxifen HPTA Restart?

I'm wondering about this as well. I am beginning TRT soon, and fertility is a big priority. Based on everything I've read, I don't think you'd need to get off of it as long as you use HCG properly...that is, unless you really want to get off of it because of the anxiety, which is a different issue.

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

I understand this may seem like gossip, but that's not my intention. I think it's important to know about business relationships when we're interpreting information on the podcast.

TRT without the use of Aromatase Inhibitors

I watched it as well. I also wish he had touched on SHBG, and I agree that it's a bizarre take. That said, I think he made a pretty convincing argument that we should, at the very least, rethink estradiol. His anti-prostate-cancer arguments were interesting. He's clearly a very bright, well-read...
