    Started Nature-Thyroid Yesterday

I stopped taking it the day after posting this. I woke up that night with really bad heart palpitations. I am going to retest everything including the Reverse T3, Iron/Ferritin, and try to get the 4x cortisol/dhea saliva test (do you think my primary will have that test or do I need to see a...

    Started Nature-Thyroid Yesterday

Thanks for the response, I should have mentioned that TPO and TgAb came back negative (no antibodies) so autoimmune is out....I will make sure to get all these things tested in a few weeks...iron/ferritin has been good in the past...is the multi test saliva test the only reliable test for...

    Started Nature-Thyroid Yesterday

Oh I hear you on that. I just wanted to hear others' experiences with starting it to see if they experienced the same.

    Started Nature-Thyroid Yesterday

Began taking nature-throid yesterday, 97.5mg. So far I feel extremely tired and almost drugged-like. It's not a terrible feeling, kind of relaxed and chill, but hard to get any work done. I read online this is a normal feeling when first starting. Anyone else experience it? I'm thinking my...

Anyone take Nature Throid for hypothyroidism?

Sorry, meant for OP but anyone can answer.

Anyone take Nature Throid for hypothyroidism?

What were you levels? High TSH? Low T3? I have a normal TSH but lowish T3, am considering NDT.

Should We Be Managing Estradiol and Hematocrit in Men on Testosterone Replacement?

Dr. Nichols, would you say that treating low T3 could have the effect of increasing SHBG? This is only anecdotal, but I saw my own SHBG increase substantially after taking NDT for a few months to increase my T3 (I didn't feel much difference with the increased T3 so discontinued that treatment...

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

Seems like a pretty high dose what was your E2?

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

Thank you sir. I don't want to add anything else to the mix right now, want to wait to see how I feel at the 6 week mark then gauge how I feel then.

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

I was on NDT for about 3 months, but then stopped. My thyroid levels are all good except free T3 was a bit low (3.1). I was kind of hoping that going to TRT would just kind of fix everything. Does TRT help or hurt the thyroid? Maybe I should give that a try again. Do you take that or...

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

For the last 3 days I have been experiencing severe constipation and nausea. I've had nothing to eat for like 48 hours and have no appetite. It is probably a stomach bug but I was wondering if that small amount of Arimidex (.25mg/weekly) could have those effects on someone?

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

This is the protocol Defy put me on. It is a very small amount. Also, I have only taken two doses and am positive that is not contributing to my symptoms. The day before I switched to injections, I had blood tests run again and my E2 (sensitive) was 45.5 (ranged maxed out at 35) so I think I am...

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

Yes I am, 500iu hcg E3.5D, 70mg test cyp E3.5D, .125mg AI E3.5D. But just started that 4/27, before that I took only a testosterone cream beginning 3/15

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

That is kind of what I was thinking. I will wait for 6 weeks from 4/27 (date that I started injections) and then test and determine how I feel. Then go from there and look into adding other things into my protocol if necessary.

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

Nope, I have never tested it. I just started researching that last night. Would it be worth testing now or will not depict a good picture now that I have been on TRT for a little while?

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

That's great to hear. I feel like I'm going crazy and often my first impression to people is that I'm not intelligent, which is not the case at all. Could you pinpoint which hormone helped the most with the issue that I mentioned? Was it testosterone? Or was too hard to tell since you had so...

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

I don't drink much anymore, primarily due to that reason. Yeah, it is quite tough and embarrasing at work. Would you say it's 80% better? 90%?

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

That is awesome to hear. I really didn't expect anyone to relate. It's a long story for me, but it started when I first learned I was hypogonadal. Began taking Clomid and it cleared it miraculously, so I knew testosterone was related. I took Clomid for 3.5 years, and it more or less stopped...

Slight Stammer - Are Hormones Responsible?

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this or otherwise has any information on it. I sometimes go through stretches where it is hard for me to speak fluently. I know what I want to say but it's just hard to get the words out. This all started when my hormones started to go...

On TRT, Great Two Weeks, Now Nothing

Same thing happened to me! Was on a compounded cream beginning 3/15, felt great for a few weeks then nosedived! I came to the same conclusion that Tom described. I started injections last night though.

    Switch from topical to injections

How long did it take you to feel good when you switched from cream to injections? I have been on cream and made my first injection this evening, popped my cherry! Lol

First Injection - Do I Discontinue the Topical?

Makes sense. It is hard to say RE levels, as I got tested 2 weeks after starting topical (https://www.excelmale.com/forum/showthread.php?10426-I-think-that-my-E2-has-spiked) and then just got tested yesterday, so don't know those test results yet. All I know is that I felt amazing first few...

First Injection - Do I Discontinue the Topical?

That is probably the smart approach. How long do you figure it will take for me to feel the effects of the injections? I was hoping I would feel it relatively quickly since I have already been building up testosterone in my system for the last 6 weeks via topical.

First Injection - Do I Discontinue the Topical?

Well I just don't want to go back to feeling like shit waiting to feel the effects of the injection.

First Injection - Do I Discontinue the Topical?

I just took my first injection of test cyp (along with hcg). Should I go ahead and take the test cream tonight as well (I have been taking that since mid-march) or will I feel effects from the injection instantly? Not sure how that transition works. Thanks guys!

I think that my E2 has spiked

Getting labs done tomorrow. Did a poor man's test yesterday. I added a couple extra pumps to my protocol yesterday. I figured if I felt better today=my T was low, if I felt worse=my E2 has gotten out of control. I feel a bit better today.

I think that my E2 has spiked

Yeah I'm going to. Going onto day 7 with no erections... started off so great early in treatment. My theory is that since I had been on Clomid prior to TRT, my levels were already in a decent range. So the test. cream put at a very high level. But now, my natural production has shut down and the...

I think that my E2 has spiked

Thanks guys. Sounds like it may be as simple as that. I was just really scared that I had reach the plateau of my treatment, but looks like that probably isn't the case.
