Thought I would update this thread again. It's been a while. I lost interest after about a month in keeping track but I am periodically checking fasting glucose. I am still taking the Berberine once or twice per day (mostly twice) The results are about the same. My levels have been lower...
I would be honest with him and tell him that based on all of the reading that you have done you feel that the dosage is to little to infrequently and you are not comfortable with it. Ask him if you can do something more along the lines of a typical starting dose of around 100mg/week divided up...
Pretty much what will happen is your natural production will shut down and you will be left with next to nothing in your body in 5 to 7 days give or take. As others have said, you will really feel bad. Your E2 will crash, your T will crash and you will wish you never did it.
Disregarding the history and looking at the current situation it seems like you re doing a lot of changes in a short amount of time. Maybe stick with a simple protocol with the HCG like 200 to 400iu twice per week and then a reasonable amount of T-cyp either twice per week or EOD. Give it a...
What ever you do please reconsider taking the testosterone once every 2 weeks. That will likely make you feel even worse then you already do and won't be a good long term protocol for you. For me twice a week (50mg twice weekly) was not enough frequency to get me stable and feeling really...
My E2 has been steadily climbing over the months. My next blood test should be telling. My new protocol raised the dose of T by about 20mg per week. It seemed that going from twice per week to EOD with the same dosage did not make a difference for me in the trof. But again it could have been...
I will. I am going to get blood work done very soon so I will be reporting back where I am in that department. Curious if the increase from last time will require donation or see if my RBC has stabilized etc.
Sorry,
I split the dosage up. But now I am actually doing about 106mg per week total. 150iu/injection. That along with the 400mg HCG on Monday an Thursday.
Glad to hear it. I started at 100mg E3.5 days. My trough was too low for my liking and I was not feeling as good as I do now. EOD seems to work very well for me. Hopefully you will find some long term relief with your new protocol and Dr.
How did you feel when the T was elevated on the HCG mono? Did you quit because of the E2 issues with it? How are you doing overall now with the T replacement?
Everything has been out of pocket for me except the clomid (first thing I tried). The HCG was costing about 50 for 11000iu At your doses I would have required at least two to three bottles a month. I guess doable. I guess in the end, I still produce my own, my testicles are OK size wise (was...
At 348 I felt terrible, at 560 I felt better. At 284 I was ready to jump off a bridge.
This is a bad idea. Probably a result of "reducing" health care costs. Probably all part of ACA.
Well,
Initially the 500iu E3.5 days got me up to almost 600. But then it fell flat on it's face another 3 months later. That's all water under the bridge now though. I guess that doing 800 EOD would have bankrupted me too (not really). That would be about 100/month just for HCG.
I'm sorta new to all this stuff too but some observations. Splitting up the T more then twice a week might be helpful (EOD) I have seen marked improvement going from twice a week to EOD. I feel much better. My libido has been unbelievable from the start of injections and it continues. But I...
Coming up on 6 weeks since the latest protocol change. I will get blood drawn next week (Wednesday perhaps?)
1) Hot flashes gone.
2) Libido still excellent.
3) Penile sensitivity comes and goes. Though recently better. Orgasms are much better.
4) I think I have dialed in the Cialis. 7mg...
If you continue to take HCG while taking T (Which you should) you should maintain your ability to conceive. Do you have any LOW T symptoms?
Because you are now on HCG your natural system has already shut down (or is well on it's way to doing so) You produce your own T on HCG but it shuts down...
Thank you for the post. Sounds like you are on a good starting protocol though if you are anything like me once a week may not be enough frequency for you as time goes on.
So far this new protocol I am on (About a month in now. Man time flies by), the most significant things I have noticed...
Last post on this cause I don't want to derail the thread either. :) but Vince is probably right. Your e2 is pretty high and you are exhibiting a side effect of it. You should explore ways to lower the E2 for sure.
Yes, it happens to many of us. I gained about 10lbs in the first 2 weeks. Even while on a carb restricted diet. It is slowly coming off now after 6 months on TRT.
Why did your clinic put you on the maximum dosage of T for TRT? 200mg per week is about as high as you want to go. You might...
Your T levels are about where mine were when I began to seek help. Everyone is different. I started last October (I can't believe it's been almost 7 months now! wow) with 50mg E3.5 days. It got my TT up to almost 800 with FT around 20 after 6 weeks. Then the following 8 to 10 weeks it slid...
What seems to be a terrible fact for me is using Cialis seems to help enough in the erection department but it makes climaxing very difficult. It seems to decrease sensitivity even more for me. :/
For me when everything started to go to hell it was this that led the way. I noticed that...
When you guys are talking about sexual function are you talking about erection quality or libido or both? The reason I ask is my previous and current protocol I have crazy libido - been like that since the first/second week of starting TRT. I just can't enough sex. But I am still dealing with...
Just drew out the last of my T from my first bottle today. I left it upside down for a while before wiping with the alcohol pad. Then pushed as much air in as I could from the syringe and then pulled the needle out as far as I could then waited...and waited and waited..... :) There is just a...
