I am throwing this question to the vast amount of knowledge on this board. My last Test-Cyp injection was February 4th (75mg, shallow IM, which I had been injecting weekly for less than 2 months). I had started low dose clomid (25mg eod) but stopped that 4 weeks prior to scheduled blood work...
I'm beginning to believe that my "not so great" experience with TRT is because of elevated SHBG. In January 2020 I had blood work done, about three months after I initially started and stopped self prescribed test. My SHBG at that time was 51.8 nmol/l.
Then in December 2020 after starting again...
Well blood work came back...testosterone is through the roof according to my doc...29 nmol/l (the norm is 10-24 according to him)...but the concerning number is my cholesterol...he said it took a 40% jump since my last reading placing me in the "at risk for heart disease" category. I told him...
I initially started clomid but then stopped for a period as I had blood work coming up. I recently started again at a low dose (12.5 MWF). I know from what I've read that higher doses can wreak havoc on emotions and libido so hopefully this low dose may edge more on the positive effects. When I...
Yeah, I'm just wondering about the proper dosage and how long it can be used for without causing any issues...I know some guys use it along with other compounds during cycles...but I would just be using it by itself
Hi all, I have been looking into Proviron as of late as I have been experiencing lower than normal libido. I dabbled with low dose testosterone cycles over the past few years as my test levels indicated low normal. I am currently not taking anything and haven't for a few months now. I really...
I did see a dermatologist...she prescribed Rupall...it does seem to do the trick. But when it flares up the hydrocortisone cream (1%) is very helpful. I'm just curious as to why this started because I have never had any skin issues in my life, not even acne...It all started after I started...
Has anyone experienced eczema like skin issues while on TRT? I don't mean injection site issues like redness and inflammation but systemic hive like, extremely itchy raised lesions on the back, chest, right and left flank. I have been off TRT for a few months now and the issue has increased. The...
It's curious how reference levels differ...I had my SHBG done and it indicated high as it was 51.8nmol/l. The normal range reference was 11-50 nmol/l. According to aneuman's reference range I would be higher end of normal...
I can attest to the libido killer aspect...I started with 12.5mg daily (for a week)...then switched to 25mg daily. At 12.5mg there did not seem to be any sides. But as I said I had only been on this dose for a week. After switching to 25mg my libido disappeared. I only did that for just under 2...
Yes, from what I've read about Boron it helps with lowering SHBG freeing up bioavailable test...but I imagine there are a lot more educated opinions on this topic than mine :)
I would also add that from what I've read, Boron prevents the breakdown of vitamin D. So your already mega dose would be remaining in your blood stream longer than usual possibly contributing to the potential for toxicity. I believe 9mg of Boron would be considered high as from what I've read...
I will share my strange skin experience. While on self prescribed TRT I developed an eczema like skin condition. My Doc initially thought eczema and then sent me to a dermatologist who concluded that it was actually Dermatographia. The thought is that my body had a histamine reaction to whatever...
I was injecting once weekly. In the past I tried tweaking the dose, went up 100mg weekly...felt worse. Tried lowering to 50-60mg...still nothing. Tried tweaking the injection frequency...nothing. Developed crazy skin issues as well as the libido issues so I decided enough is enough. I stopped...
Yes I think you're right...I took my last 25mg this morning...I think I'll switch to 12.5 mg ED for a week then EOD for a week then stop. Thanks for the advice.
Just throwing another question to the masses. I am currently into my third week of Clomid only, post a two month (or so) duration of self administered TRT (75mg weekly test-e). I started a week after my last injection with 12.5mg of Clomid daily (week 1) then upped it to 25mg daily from week 2...
Hey, 52 when I started. I am unsure of the numbers of my pre-trt blood work as my Doc (who is no longer my Doc) told me I was "low normal" with regards to testosterone. I had blood work done about 2 months after my first self prescribed "cycle"...the values are as follows;
...estradiol serum -...
Also FWIW...I recently stopped self prescribed TRT. I have also been off and on over the last 2-3 years. My symptoms were pretty much the same as yours. I felt great initially after starting weekly injections (75mg) but it waned off and the negatives seemed to outweigh the positives. I did try...
Which begs the question why is TRT on average 100mg weekly? A dose of 50mg per week should theoretically place a guy in the higher end range. What else comes in to play when some guys are requiring 150 - 200mg weekly just to have there levels read somewhat normal...complicated beings we are....
Just wondering what your dosage was and what compound you were using? I tried a few times cold turkey after low dose trt (75-100mg) weekly. Longest cycle may have been 4-5 months. Each "attempt" ended up feeling quite shitty. So I'd start up again...For me I have a high SHBG and my estrogen was...
