Weird. If anything the cream I got was dryer than usual. Like I said, it is difficult to fully rub in and flakes off my skin. I feel like I got a bad batch ♂️
Has anyone else noticed the Empower test cream is different? It seems more clumpy? And after I’m done applying it to my balls I have to rub my hands together to get it to flake off. It also seems to have given me a bit of irritation on my scrotum. I’ve never noticed this before, maybe l just got...
Interesting. Even on HCG my progesterone is still bottomed out without progesterone cream. Are you back on a moderate dose of HCG or are you off for good?
I’m curious about this as well. How much did you pay for them? I looked at their website and it looks dirt cheap. Like 20 bucks for 10000iu of Naravel. That’s less than half the cost of defy. Seems too good to be true though.
Sorry if I said that in a confusing way. My last 2 sets of cortisol labs, April 2021 and October 2021 showed my cortisol bottomed out in the AM, then basically jacked above range the rest of the day. I’ve only been using progesterone for the past 2 weeks. I have no idea what my cortisol labs are...
We’ll mostly just that I was actually waking up in the AM refreshed and ready to go. Prior to the prog, I would sleep til 11am on my days off and even then I’d have to pry myself out of bed. My AM cortisol on the last test was completely bottomed out. Seems like the prog has maybe helped me...
I think it was helping? I’ve honestly never really felt much from HCG, but adding the progesterone made it feel like the HCG was actually working, if that makes sense. Libido was up a tick, orgasms were better and everything just hung nice and plump. Sorry if that is TMI… my adrenals are pretty...
Interesting. Thanks for chiming in. I should note that I also have really high dht due to the testosterone cream, which also is known to compete for the estrogen receptor. I’ll bet between that and the sky high progesterone, the actual estrogen that was getting to the receptors was nil. I do...
Interesting. Yeah if testosterone cream is any indicator, I absorb like crazy via scrotal application. 2 clicks had my free t at like 45. That is why I only do the body application now. I can only imagine my prog levels were jacked sky high as well. Lesson learned, I suppose. Respect hormones...
It’s debatable. I’ve read that it can compete with the estrogen receptor, not actually lower it. So in theory it can mitigate some of the effects of estrogen, both good and bad.
I agree, getting tested is the only way to know for sure. I won’t have time to run get that done til mid week though. I just thought I’d see if anyone had a similar experience with progesterone. And yep, 20mg/pump. Probably a really high dose, but until this weekend I’ve been feeling pretty good...
Hello, for the past 2 weeks I’ve been using progesterone cream, one pump scrotal application per day. Over this weekend I started to notice my joints were achy, felt sort of dry, popping a bit. I’ve actually been feeling pretty good (libido and mentally) but thinking I may have overdone it with...
Sorry, I know there are a ton of other threads on progesterone, but seems like a lot of them get derailed and you have to filter through like 12 pages of comments and studies people posted. I just want to know straight up, what has been your experience with progesterone?
For me, I’m on day 5...
For years I have dealt with treatment resistant depression. TRT has helped a bit, but it’s no magic bullet. I’ve been reading up on a medication called Parnate. It’s an MAOI and is apparently very successful at treating TRD. The only issue is mainstream doctors are hesitant to prescribe it, so...
@Everydaystruggle did you ever get your cortisol/sleep figured out? I’ve had two 24 hour cortisol tests done with results similar to yours. Low in the AM then jacked the rest of the day/night. I started taking Rhodiola and do feel better during the day, but still struggling with sleep. Just...
Weird. I wonder if the FDA will crack down on them eventually? 2 vials should last me about 6 months though. Hopefully they have this shit figured out by then. Are you going through defy?
Anyone else get a similar email from Defy? I’m confused. They say they are transferring my HCG order to Hallandale, but isn’t Hallandale also a compounding pharmacy? I thought FDA was putting the kibosh on all compounding pharmacies selling HCG. Am I wrong about something?
If t3 is the active thyroid hormone, then what would be the point of even taking t4? I ask because I have been on t3 only treatment since beginning HRT due to high RT3. Wondering if I could benefit from adding in a little t4 to my protocol. T4 is usually at the bottom end of normal or just...
Interesting. Are you a high rt3 guy? I’ve considered trying to add some t4 to my protocol, but my rt3 is already pretty high. I actually just ordered some rhodiola yesterday to help with my cortisol problem (low AM, high the rest of the day). Your post gives me hope that it might help.
My sleep appears unchanged. Which is to say not great, but not terrible. I got on T3 before trt. My t3 and t4 numbers were okish, but TSH was high and rt3 was literally 45. Dr. Saya said it was the highest he’d seen all that year. So he put me on t3 only treatment. Still have a hard time getting...
