My decision to introduce DHEA into my protocol was probably the worst decision I've made in the almost 3 1/2 years I've been taking cypionate. I had horrible anxiety while on DHEA. Started with 25mg, then 12.5, followed by 6...and finally gave it up. Shortly after, my anxiety decreased and I got...
Did you start the melatonin 2 weeks ago with the trt? How's it working for you? I'm at 1.25 mg per night which is a super low dose, and it knocks me on my can.
As Houston rebuilds, there will be an even greater sense of pride among the residents in those areas hardest hit. It's best days are ahead! A ton of work to be done though.
Seanazul, for clarification, you're injecting 70mg twice weekly (140 mg per week) of 200 mg/ml cypionate and 400 IU of hcg (800 total). Is that correct ?
Larry85376 - I always aspirate, but will admit it's more a force of habit over the years than any true concern. Never a bad idea to do it, just not 'necessarily necessary' if you get the bubbles out and inject into muscle.
nurselyfe - I've also been on trt for several years with no HCG. I keep saying I'm going to try it but I don't do it. I think I'm really happy with where I am right now with my testosterone protocol and don't know that I want to change that.
Diggs - With the horror stories we read on this site, the senior members are always telling guys to seek a competent doctor to help them with therapy. It appears you've done that as this guy is widely considered to be one of the best. But I just can't imagine why he would have you on such a high...
What did your protocol look like prior to meeting with Dr. McClain? He's a well respected guy in the trt world, but 1mg every other day seems awful high based on the info you provided. Did he give any particular reason why he would like you on a dose that high?
JakeH - no, doc prefers me in that higher TT range. I think I got stuck in the trap that many guys here can relate to. Over analyzing things a bit. Been doing this for years now and always tweaking things to find that perfect fit. Big picture, my numbers usually look pretty good, I feel good...
AbsoluteZ3RO - I think I feel best as long as there's not a lot of movement with my E2. I don't necessarily feel any significant difference between the two E2 values...eventhought the T/E ratio is quite different. As has been stated many times on these boards, multiple weekly injections can go a...
Anastrozole is a powerful drug guys!
April 2017:
60 mg cyp (twice weekly) and 1/4 mg AI (twice weekly)
Total Test 863 ng/dl (264 - 916)
Free Test 23 pg/ml (6.8 - 21.5)
Estradiol, Sensitive 21 pg/ml (8.0 - 35.0)
August 2017:
50 mg cyp (twice weekly) and 0 AI
Total Test 599 ng/dl (264 - 916)...
Davert - I agree, it's not a good idea if you plan to store them long term. I preload every Sunday for the week with no issues. The longest my syringe will sit is 4 days.
Seems when this was asked a while back, one of the good docs said to inject HCG the day before a twice weekly cyp protocol. Don't recall the reason why. From what I've read from the guys on this side, from both feelings and bloodwork, it really doesn't matter much. I'm in agreement with Vince...
First notice it at 15. I'm now 45. Doc (5 years ago) said surgery may increase my total T by 150. I was at 200 at the time. Hardly enough to make much of a difference in my case.
It's not the Testosterone, but everything else in the injection that concerns some guys. It's been brought up here before. I think it's a valid concern. There's some very educated guesses, but we'll know more in 20 years.
Stevenf - A lot of guys (myself included) are tempted to tweak things that don't need to be tweaked. At least you know what dose makes you feel good. If daily doesn't work for you, you know what does.
1/4 of 1 mg, I'd like to give that a shot. I'm at 1.25mg and have the challenge of getting that small pill any smaller. I agree that less is more for sleep.
