Are you on an AI? I've typically found that lake of orgasm is typically due to reduced penile sensitivity, primarily due to E2 that's too low relative to your T levels.Wow! I'm going to have to try this! I'm lucky if I can have sex twice a week. I can get erect, but no amount of stimulation brings on an orgasm or ejaculation.
I'm much more sensitive that I used to be and it does take me a long time and occasionally, I get tired of fucking before I get there...lol... But the ladies don't seem to mind! lolAre you on an AI? What dose are you taking?Very mild, no vomiting. Nothing dramatic.
That is who it was originally produced for. Google Vyleesi. It is the pharmaceutical version of PT-141. With a prescription, women can get a huge discount on the product. If I could get Vyleesi, I wouldn't bother with the knock-off PT-141.What about for girls ?
Your statement about having a wife who likes to have fun(in bed) is highly relevant. Since she's years younger, much more responsive and open. I had an rx for PT-141 and never ordered it from Empower because I wondered if it would make any difference with my sexually indifferent wife. Thinking about Trimix but, again, don't know if her seeing me super hard would turn her on or upset her. Extremely frustrated.Hi, so
1. Yes, I can get erect, have sex, orgasm, 2-3 times (sometimes 4 during a 6-8 hour period. I'm on wife 2.0 who is a lot younger than I am FWIW, so I'm married to porn and have lots of motivation. Does your partner think it's fun and is having a good time? If yes, PT-141 kind of keeps you in that zone and enjoying it/able to perform.
2. I do still use it, but never more than 1x a week, for maximum effect I only use it every 10-14 days or so. When I was using it 2-3 times a week I found that I get desensitized and it doesn't last. So for me personally, my rule is, not more than 1x a week, preferably once every 2 weeks just have an awesome sex day
3. I don't buy it online, I have a script for it to obtain from compounding pharmacy, but it's the kind of RX which is more like, "I'd like an RX for this" and my clinician says, "Okay, sure." and if you read the available literature I believe max dose is 4mg.
I don't know if 3mg is "a ton" I just know what I wrote: titrating upwards, 500mcg did nothing for me. And the 1.5mg-2mg doses did "something" but that something was give me nocturnal erections which weren't too terribly helpful or my desired goal.
Over 2.5mg "works" and 3mg is my personal sweet spot to attain the results above. You should see what works for you, since that's the only important variable.
4. Nope. No sides. I do get nausea at about 10 minutes as noted, but it's manageable and not something highly dramatic.
I wrote all this out because I remember learning about PT-141, reading the threads here, trying the advice, and then becoming frustrated that it did nothing at all for me, until I experimented with it a bit.
^^^ that's totally not me. The microdoses did absolutely nothing for me. <shrug> Also, what are you talking about? So far as I know PT-141 is available for injection (what I'm doing) and nasal spray (which I haven't tried yet). There's a oral that works?
Cheers
The downside of national healthcare and I'm a supporter of it. Rationing out appointments to specialists or only having a few and they're booked for months or a year. I talk with people in the UK on another forum and that's what they have to contend with. I've experienced that, here, when I wanted to see a psychiatrist who specializes in thyroid and mood disorders. Six month waiting list and $600. Doesn't take insurance. Never saw him.Anyone know where I can get Tri-Mix in Ontario Canada other than through a prescription? I have an appointment with a doc to "teach me" how to inject it but it January next year!!!
I ordered a couple of bottles of PT-141 and will be trying it out in a week or two. I can get most of my protocol great, but that typically results in a complete lack of penile sensation, which breaks my dick. Be nice if I could use this as a fall back while I’m playing around with things.
Not since the issues started. For me, they’re caused by the T3 I take. Adding in T4 at night helps, but causes massive hair shedding typically. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get around my need for T3.Have you checked your prolactin levels? I was struggling with a lack of penile sensitivity and difficulty reaching orgasm. I tried PT-141 first and couldn't handle the sides. It gave my insane erections and helped a bit with the sensitivity issues, but then I'd suffer from flu-like symptoms, including full body ache, for a day or two after. It just wasn't worth it.
My TRT doc tested prolactin, and it turns out mine was very elevated. He prescribed a low dose of cabergoline, which has helped immensely.
Tri-mix is da bomb!I tried it 3 times working up from 5 units to 10 units to 15. First time, nothing. Second time I had some spontaneous erections. Third time nausea with vomiting and spontaneous erections. It took several hours for it to kick in.
After the vomiting episode, not sure if I want to try it again. I've never tried it, but would prefer to try Trimix or Bimix before I do PT-141 again.
I switched from primarily using Cialis to Viagra and that seemed to work better. I think your body builds a resistance after long use.
PT 141 gave me an incredibly hard erection for hours but took 45 minutes to set in and was accompanied by nausea. Trimix takes 10 minutes to set in and lasts for as long as I want (a few times longer, lol). The pt 141 erection was superior in that it felt more sexual, but the nausea ruined it.The slight nausea with PT-141 is trivial in my experience - very transitory. The harder (no pun intended) aspect for me with PT-141 is the uncertain timing of onset.
Trimix is a superior option, in my experience. There's no uncertainty about timing: 5 minutes later, and you're ready to go. Trimix doesn't directly affect libido, but funny how having a boner leads to desire for sex, not just vice-versa. Hat tip to Nelson for coaching me on Trimix use.
Question. Are you saying the trimix is a better option for you? I'm leery of sticking a needle in my dick. I get hard easily enough; I just have difficulty staying hard.PT 141 gave me an incredibly hard erection for hours but took 45 minutes to set in and was accompanied by nausea. Trimix takes 10 minutes to set in and lasts for as long as I want (a few times longer, lol). The pt 141 erection was superior in that it felt more sexual, but the nausea ruined it.
Having used PT – 141 I first found out that it takes me several hours to begin feeling a little bit aroused. That being said, it doesn’t seem to make me horny, until my wife does something, anything to spark my interest. Then, it acts as an aphrodisiac for sure. I immediately get a very stiff erection and when I ejaculate. It’s very strong. Just for the record, I’m a 73 year, old male, with a history of heart disease and it was prescribed by my physician. Additionally, I have found taking something like super beats helps out quite a bit (boosts, nitric oxide). I have the availability of both Viagra and Cialis, but using PT 141, it’s not necessary.I found this thread submitted by @Nelson Vergel : PT 141 forum
But it is only general information.
Does anyone here use PT-141 for assistance with arousal? How has it been? I just got approved for this treatment since I have been disinterested in sex recently...
(I haven't felt the need to ejaculate in like a week, which is REALLY weird for me, since I am usually dying if I do not ejaculate 2-3 times a day. I already checked T and estradiol levels, they are in check, so it's not that)
