This is a very interesting study and explains something I recently experienced.
Three months ago I adjusted my protocol to include anastrozole due to a very high estradiol blood measure. As a result, my estradiol swung from a high (without the a.i.) of 62 to a low of 11.6 after 3 months taking...
Darn—I should know better! In my draft response above I had nice headers with neat rows/columns of data below the headers. When posted the system eliminated all the spacings and pushed the data to the left margin. For those who had a hard time reading the data in the post please know that the...
Advice Requested-New Labs on Adjusted Protocol
Just got my labs back after 3 months on an adjusted protocol and have a couple of questions on the results and corrective action.
The following are the prior and current protocols and the lab results from each. Blood draw on both were one hour...
As always, thank you Cataceous for your thoughtful response. I can see from your explanation how the standard (immunoassay) test could very easily reflect elevated estradiol numbers. In this regard I have a blood draw for the new protocol scheduled for tomorrow. I am anxious to see how a 10%...
Found an error in my lab (discussed in first post above) which reported a trough estradiol level of 62 at a testosterone enanthate dose of 80mg/wk. Although we asked for the "sensitive" measure, the lab used something noted as "Roche ECLIA"methodology. I just noticed this!! All my other...
lerodious89--Yes 200 mg/wk does sound like a lot to me--but I respond to low doses. A total t of 400 at 120 mg/wk does sound low--additional information from your recent labs would probably help -- many highly knowledgeable folks here--hope they respond!
Systemlord--he is trying to tell you he is currently taking 120mg/wk and they want him to 200 via three weekly shots of .333ml each---worded a little cumbersome but it was easily discerned.
Low blood sugar??
A wealth of informative contributors on Nelson’s site!!
Cataceous-Thank you for your thoughtful comments. Correct me if I am wrong but I think you are saying that, given the high absolute estradiol count, it might be worthwhile for me to experiment with simple actions to reduce that number...
Homework done!
OK, I have read through the referenced articles/reviews mentioned in Nelson’s post above to include the sources used for the articles looking for any information on “optimal estradiol ranges” for men on TRT. I have reached some conclusions based on that reading which I would...
Comments on Recent Lab Results
I just received my latest lab results and would like to get input from the “brain trust” on my proposed adjustments and plan of action.
Background: I started TRT back in June due to a very low free T (LabCorp 5.3 on scale of 6.6-18.1) and the traditional...
Bad situation--however one reason the number is so large is that they list the same people multiple times based on location. For example, they have my name listed multiple times based on each address I have had over the last two decades. Does not reduce the significance of the breach but...
Good Stuff!!! Still trying to absorb.
Ref the first item, it appears (looking at the median lines), that 100mg/wk (or lower) does not result in maximum suppression until around week 12 whereas 200mg+ hits max suppression much sooner--week 7 or 8. This would suggest that my 8 week labs on...
