I only went on keto because I wanted to eat bacon, sausage, heavy creams, lots of red meat etc. Suppose I was asking for trouble in regards to high LDL.
My Son has lost 39kg since September on the keto diet, my wife 12kg since November. Both had been dieting prior to this on low fat diets with not much success.

Whether this actually works or not for everyone I couldn't say but my hematocrit has dropped by 3 points since I started on half a grapefruit a day and fish oil:

Mine are smaller than when I was a teenager but I abused steroids in the nineties without ever conducting PCT. Never heard of PCT back in those days lol.
Works great in what capacity? Most supplement HCG either to preserve fertility, to stop testical shrinkage or a combination of both. Some men report a better feeling of wellbeing on HCG. I certainly feel better supplementing with HCG. HCG will also raise testosterone levels, though will probably...
Yes. I eat half a grapefruit everyday and also supplement with cod liver oil to keep my blood platelets slippery. Have never had to donate blood even when I was on steroid cycle dosages. Highests hematocrit level was 50.1 which is quite fine IMO. I could be just one of the lucky ones though.
Not all whey protein is created equal though that has more to do with protein, carbs, lactose and fat content than the amino acid content. I prefer isolate over concentrate for its higher purity.
