Hello all, long time lurker first time poster.
No literature about this but does anyone know if exogenous testosterone (if high enough amounts) can reach the Sertoli cells in the testes to begin sperm production? I’m a former bodybuilder, now trt patient. I’ve seen countless bodybuilders father children without the use of fertility drugs. I’ve recently heard from a doctor that the above could be the reason why. Exogenous testosterone if high enough could reach the Sertoli cells and signal sperm production. If coupled with HCG and HMG this effect would be amplified.
low and moderate doses of testosterone cannot reach the Sertoli cells. Does anyone know if this information is true? Me and my wife are trying for a baby so I have come off testosterone and started HCG and HMG, and I am miserable being off testosterone!
Thanks for reading
