Where to start?

Hello Gents,

So I'm 20 and I figured out I had low testosterone about a month ago from an at home test.

Where do I start?

Should I go to the doctor for a basic checkup?

Should I order a full comprehensive blood test online or should I get one through a doctor?

Which type of doctor do you recommend I go to?

Any advice is immensely appreciated! I really want to get this sorted out and figure out the root cause of my Low T without being put on TRT for the rest of my life.
Thanks.

In my opinion, getting blood work without medical input at this point may not be the best thing you can do. You can go to discountedlabs.com and order labs and have them sent to you directly without having to go to Dr. But you have some issue of some sort. I most do not know of any home test kit that I would trust either.
You can contact Defy medical, they are in FL, but do most of their work thru telemedicine. This will cost you more but you will get real medical advice. At 20 there is an issue for your test to be so low. Just my 2 cents

Would you recommend Defy Medical over going to a the doctor?
I was thinking of going to see a doctor for a basic checkup and tell them everything thats going on.
Then they should refer me to a specialist that can get my blood work done.

Well the problem is a large percentage of Dr know little of testosterone therapy. Some right out disagree, but most think they know, but really do not. If you have a good one locally that is awesome. Defy is focused on men’s health issues.

I don't want to get on TRT I just want to figure out what the real issue that is causing Low T.
