Temporary relief for itchy and sore nipples?

Recently (about 6 weeks ago) my protocol was basically split into half twice a week, and about that time my nipples started itching occasionally and also a clear minor discharge upon squeezing the aerola/nipple area. But being it started at the time of the change, it makes little sense that the itchiness is due to that change and appears coincidental as far as I can tell.

Anyways, last night they were really itchy that I scratched the hell out of them and they are sore this morning and it is really irritating me the soreness.

I will be doing routine blood work this Friday including estrogen, prolactin, and progesterone - so we will definitely be looking into the cause just in case it is hormonal, but in the mean time today is there any topical temporary relief I can apply to my nipples? Some kind of cream or something? Ice? Or is it recommended to leave them completely alone?

This is literally the first time I am experiencing this side effect, despite the fact that I've been on TRT for like 4 years and my routine has been split into two half doses, which should decrease the chances for side effects, no?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Might it be a response to the protocol change? Possibly. Your levels are in flux and you may actually achieve higher serum levels as a result of the twice-weekly dosing schedule (depending on factors such as amount injected, SHBG values, and so forth). I know when I went from 60mg every 3.5 days to 16mg every day, my total testosterone rose, and my nipples itched for quite some time (and still do on occasion).
