Swollen/large lump after glute injection

This isn't testosterone related, but I figured someone on here may know about this...


i injected 5ml of a tri amino blend (citrulline/ornithine/arginine) in my glute the other day and now a couple of days later it looks swollen with a huge lump on my butt cheek if I flex it. It also hurts quite a bit and feels like it's radiating down my leg. I'm wondering if maybe the injection was just too big or maybe I injected next to a nerve or into the fat layer?

Does anybody know?

What needle did you use, gauge and length. I recall with Defy they specify different needles for different volumes and they warn of injecting it to shallow.

it was a 27ga 1-1/2 inch needle

Usually due to high Ph values in the amino acids.

Send back to the pharmacy and tell them what happened as they should replace with a lower Ph value.

Also, 5 ml is a lot!

Usual dose is 1 ml.

I took it as a typo and meant .5ml. Interesting on the adjustable Ph I'll keep that in mind.

Is it normal that it's still hurting 3 days after? Yeah Mine says inject 1-5ml, definitely going to be doing 1ml from now on.

I had the same thing happen some time ago on a vial. Got large sore lumps under the skin at the injection site.

Ph was to high.

It will subside in time.
