Hi everybody,
I thought I would share something a bit interesting for me as I got advanced labs finally.
Of note, my E2 which had been very high is now LOW after taking 0.40mg of anastrozole in the past week. From 300 to only 22 (81 pg/ml to 6 pg/ml). Meanwhile, my testosterone is excellent at 865 ng/DL.
Also interesting to note my ferratin is5.21 µg/L which is significantly below the low end of 23.9! I am a regular blood donor and usually go every three months since my doctor spooked me years' ago informing me I was on the higher end of normal for hematocrit. First time in 10-years we have tested ferratin. Have to say that I always felt tired. As a former full marathon runner I have never been the same since starting to donate blood as much. Maybe ferratin at play? Guessing it has been like this for years.
Lastly, my TSH is rather elevated at 4.11 miu/L, a hair below the high range; Free T3 is also close to being high.
My regiment for these results has been 110 mg of testosterone cypionate injected twice weekly at 300 miu of HCG (pregnyl) 3x per day plus for the first time in years I re-introduced anastrozole at 0.40 mg broken between two doses. What a drug!
Penis sensitivity and energy levels improved from rock bottom dysfunction last month with high E2 and no anastrozole. The anastrozole made a massive difference but I think I went too far. The ferratin might explain why I always feel sub par. Something new for me to look into.
Thought it would be of interest to share this in the group as as it sheds some light on how powerful anastrozole is, from a first-hand experience of someone who went from really high E2 to really low within one month off a very small dose.
I am 40-years old and had low testosterone since I was 16 (secondary, idiopathic...). Active in the gym, eat healthy, no smoke/drink or other known health conditions.
