I was off for 3 months. No big deal.A liver specialist wants me to stop taking testosterone for a month due to her wanting clean labs for hepatitis B levels. I’ve had it my whole life, but just now am seeing a specialist to see if I need treatment. What should I expect over the next month?
You’re welcomeThanks guys!
That's interestingI stopped TRT 6 weeks ago and no major crash. Testing actually shows liver function test worsening after stopping TRT.
Yes, I did. No surprise whatsoever. My T dropped from 700 at trough to around 300 (where I was before T). I was on TRT for 3 months before stopping cold turkey due to the lack of Cypionate (the pharmacist refused to give a 3 month supply let alone a 1 10ml/200mg vial of Cypionate). I went on a three month trip and enjoyed myself plenty. Frankly, I never got to see the benefits (long term) while on TRT. The first 6 weeks were amazing but the honeymoon period was soon gone after that. The day after I returned to the US, I went to see my urologist to restart TRT. He added HCG (before I left the on my trip, I was experiencing testicular atrophy which resolved on its own rather quickly). Upon my request he wrote a script for Cialis Daily (5mg) and my protocol is now 100mg cypionate 1x week, 500iu HCG (pregnyl) EOD and Cialis Daily 5mg. So far so good.Did you guys recheck your t levels when you were off that long and an crash?
I you felt fine off-TRT, why did you resume TRT then? Did it worsen after 3 months?Yes, I did. No surprise whatsoever. My T dropped from 700 at trough to around 300 (where I was before T). I restarted TRT because of the interruption only. No, I never felt bad at all at any point. I just thought I should give it a try since I was very briefly on TRT.I you felt fine off-TRT, why did you resume TRT then? Did it worsen after 3 months?
Mr s if you felt just as good off trt why did you go back on. I’d give anything to not experience the terrible withdrawal symptoms during stopping. I’ve tried for several weeks twice and could not take the withdrawal. Both times I used clomid and this could have contributed to how bad I felt. I’ve never tried just stopping. Hcg isn’t an option because the side effects are atrocious.
Will Testosterone without HCG cause you to have shrunken testicles until you stop the testosterone?
Okay, thanks. Guess I have to try and see.Depends who you ask, you'll get a different answer from everyone.

I gained 12 lbs of water weight in the 2 months I was on T and HCG. Once I stopped both the weight came off around week 3 and only took about 10 days. I kind of want to start only the T back up to see if the water weight gain happens again.Ya it probably depends on the person. I always thought so, and is part of the reason why I always used HCG. But surprisingly once I stopped my testicles didn’t get any smaller. Not even a little bit smaller. They’re literally the same size as when I was on HCG.
