Prostate exam ( * )

Do you have to have a prostate exam before starting at Defy Medical? Is that part of a normal physical exam if you are 50 years old or older? Ive never had one..need to do it..just preparing myself Thanks!

Yes, I had PSA and prostate exam before I started TRT. I continue to have a prostate exam yearly. PSA every 6 months through Defy Medical.

Yes...psa and digital exam...it's not that bad. Well OK it sucks, but it's over quick.

As long as the examiner doesn't have hands like andre the giant I think you will be ok

Your anxiety before the test will be much worse than the actual digital exam.

Is there history of any prostate cancer in your family?
50 is the age a lot of DRs start an exam history along with the BIG "C" (colonostrophy).
Think old Nike motto...JUST DO IT...
You want the DRs to find any abnormalities before they turn cancerous.
One of the "joys" of turning 50
