In this clip from our 2022 mid-year update conference, Mark Moyad, MD, MPH, asks Matthew Cooperberg, MD, MPH, about how men with a family history of prostate cancer should approach screening. Dr. Cooperberg argues that when there is a strong history of prostate cancer—for example, if multiple family members have been diagnosed or died prematurely from prostate cancer—then 40 would be a reasonable age to begin screening instead of 45, which is the standard recommendation.
