Hi
I’m very interested to hear opinions, especially from those training for many years (decades) for how they cope with joint issues.
I currently take Flexmode supplement which includes glucosamine, MSM, chondrotin, turmeric and hyaluronic acid. Plus several grams of fish oil daily. Elbows especially, but also knees have been a constant source of ache and discomfort over a number of recent years.
ive been training over 36 years now naturally and TRT for 2 years.
ive also tried low dose deca on 2 stints of a few months at a time, which definitely helped but having been off the last stint for circa 2 months now and finding the joints being more troublesome again. Deca was ok for me although bp and hematocrit both went out of range so not really something I’m happy to run continuous.
Also have adapted training many times to reduce joint damage such as avoiding barbell work, pressing to the front for shoulders and easing down on weights and focusing on squeeze and tension.
Any other options training wise, supplement wise or drug wise that you can recommend ?
