It’s with great sadness that I inform you that Gene Devine has passed away

Nelson Vergel

Founder, ExcelMale.com
I just found out on ******** that Gene is no longer with us. I don’t know the circumstances.

Gene was one of the main people who encouraged me to create ExcelMale. He was a force to reckon with. He could be a little blunt sometimes but his intentions were always good in helping others.

You can read his own story on our About Us page.

Here is a photo of us having a few drinks in Fort Lauderdale a few years ago. Never a dull time with him !

Rest in peace, Gene. I still can’t believe you are gone, my friend.

Sorry for your loss. I know there probably isn’t much I can say to help, but I hope you can take comfort in knowing that you’ve helped his impact on the world live on by taking his advice and creating a site that continues to improve the lives of many.

Thanks, Phil. He was so proud of this site.

Sometimes he came across as rough and blunt, but he always meant well.

I too became aware of Gene’s passing about a day after its occurrence. Sadly it reminds me of the passing of Dr John Crisler.

I am now just leaving Ft Lauderdale. During this visit we were supposed to get together as last year we missed each other. Sadly now the opportunity is gone.

Gene was instrumental in me regaining my health and vitality from being very ill in my 40’s.
It’s a debt I never could repay and the friendship we had was valuable.

The world is a little poorer with Gene gone from it

Dave

How did Gene pass and how old was he? It seems he always took good measures for health so maybe we can learn something?
I am sorry for the loss for those close to him... may he rest in peace..
