How is everyone currently disposing of needles/syringes?

I'd like to know what everyone is currently doing to dispose of used needles/syringes. What's the easiest and best way to do this?

As for me - I do two things:
1. I clip all my needles using this BD Safe-Clip Needle Clipper
2. I think put all the syringes in an old protein jug and throw them away with the trash (which my state allows). That way even if someone got to the syringes - they are harmless since the needles are clipped off.

May be overkill - but it's quick and easy and cheap.

I recap mine and drop them in a fabric softener bottle, its hard sided plastic. A "sharps" container at Walmart is like $5 and it's basically the same thing.
