High Free T. Is this a problem?

Hey again!

I just had labs done after switching to injectable testosterone after experience slow gains on the gel.

29 year old male
6'1
280lbs
Works out 4 days a week.
Started TRT in June with a low of 200 Total Testosterone and 35 free

Here is my protocol

1. 220 units of Test Cyp once a week 110 on Monday and 110 on Thursday
2. Taximoxifen on Mondays
3. Half a capasule of Arimidex on Tuesdays and Fridays
4. HCG .25 twice a week on Sunday and Wednesday

I am at 684 total testosterone (up from 205 in July)
244 Free testosterone (up from 35)

The lab shows that the free is higher than the reference range of 35-115. I also have started to develop some acne on my back... oh well.

With the tamoxifen and the arimidex, I dont think my estradial is high nor did I have it tested.

Should I be concerned about the high free T?

Any input would be appreciated!

My latest testosterone panel I use 80mg of testosterone cypionate and 500iu of hcg every 3 1/2 days - no AI

testosterone, serum 1059ng/dl 348-1197
free testosterone direct 28.9 pg/mL 6.6-18.1
dhea-sulate 214.9 ug/dL 48.9-344.2
estradiol, seneitive 27.3 pg/mL 8.0-35.0

My Free T is also higher, not as high as yours. I don't have any problems with it, I would guess if anything more benefits with higher Free T

Did you not write, in an earlier post, that you had a history of gynecomastia? If my memory is correct, it would be wise to keep an eye on your estradiol level via testing.

I don't know if you mean mg's when you say 220 "unit" of TCyp, if that's the case, I think your TT is appalling low. Might be an indicator of low SHBG, your Free T being off the charts is a common indicator of that.
