Hi! need TRT/hypothyroid help

Hello, I'm 50 years old. TT is 222, FT is 4.4 so I have been hoping to start TRT. Another problem is that my TSH was 6.140. The urologist that I'm seeing would not start me on TRT until I saw a primary care doc to address my hypothyroid, not a bad idea. He said that all of my symptoms of fatigue, ED, low libido, loss of strength, slower reflexes could all be a result of being hypothyroid. He said that if I came back with my TSH "In range" (0.450-4.500), then he would start me on Test Cyp. He does not do Anastrozole or HcG. The only reason I wanted to use the urologist was because I could use my insurance. I have been thinking of just going with Defy though..Those of you that go to Defy, could you tell me approximately how much your meds cost broken down per MONTH? I just want an idea as to how much Defy patients are paying a month for their meds.

Lose the urologist & only stick with your PCP if he/she is willing to learn. The current clinical guidelines are terrible and following those protocols have been proven to cause wide fluctuations in Testosterone levels. Injection schedules of every 3.5 days reduces these wide fluctuations. Also consider using HCG in combination with TRT to prevent testicular atrophy.

Get full blood work & post it here - we will then give you feedback on issues/concerns.
Vitamin D (both thyroid & testosterone can be impacted by low Vitamin D)
Thyroid bloodwork: TSH, Free T3, Free T4, Reverse T3 & anti-TPO. Get all 5 to get full picture of thyroid issues.
Testosterone bloodwork: Estradiol Sensitive or Ultrasensitive (regular estradiol is for women and will not give complete picture). Also get Total Testosterone, Free Testosterone, FSH, LH, SHBG, DHEA-S & CBC which will include hematocrit levels.
