Getting rach/acne on my back

I have been on TRT for about 3 years with no adverse side effects. We recently increase my dosage a bit and I am now purchasing my testosterone from a mainstream pharmacy (CVS) rather than my Dr. preferred provider (which was way more expensive).

In the last week, my back all of a sudden had broken out in a huge rash or major acne. Very itchy and uncomfortable. After reading this forum and internet searches, I guess this is a common side effect. I have reached out to my T Dr. but they are slow to respond. I am going to see a dermatologist on Monday. Until I get some direction I am going to stop my injections and I am washing with Oil-Free Acne Wash Salicylic Acid.

What's going on??
I figure this was triggered by increasing my dosage, but could it be because I am using an inferior T product from CVS?

Please give me some advice.

Thanks

The potency from brand to brand of Test can differ slightly, but the dosage increase is the most logical explanation for the acne.

Check to see if the carrier oils are the same as it could be an allergic reaction in addition to increasing your dosage, producing higher DHT and causing acne.

I would advise against any sort of 5-alpha reductase blocker, such as finasteride!

My previous TRT had sesame seed oil, the new prescription uses cottonseed oil. Could that possibly cause a reaction?
