First Doc Consult this Week (getting prepared)

47yrs old, 6-00, 195. Workout regularly, good diet.

Have my first consultation with Defy this week, and hoping for some guidance. I’m sure the doctor will be thorough, but I don’t want to regret not asking the right or important questions. I’ll be prepared with notes, and any knowledge I gain here will be added to the list.

My main reason for going to Defy is for ED, which is frustrating the hell out of me. Hoping to give Tri-mix a try. But I am also interested in anything that can help me with weight control (Lipo-C maybe?). My BW looks good, but if I didn’t workout and watch what I eat everyday, I would be weighing well into the 300s :). Also, I may be healthy on the inside, but I’m looking and feeling OLD on the outside. Anything for an energy boost and to tighten up my skin would be a bonus.

I went into this research thinking I was suffering from low test, but after some blood work found out that I am not. I know it’s important to treat the symptoms and not the numbers, but my numbers are probably too high for TRT? I posted my BW on an earlier post, but here are some highlights:

Total Test 595 (240 - 871)
Free test right in the middle of norm but don’t remember at the moment.
LH 4.1 (1.7 - 8.6)
Estradiol, Sensitive 31.8 (8.0 - 35.0)
DHEA – Sulfate 365 (71.6 - 375.4)
Everything else also in the normal range.

Right now supplement with a protein shake and a multi-vitamin. Started a modified Gene’s Oxide Stack last week (without the Cialis and Doxazosin) and too early for results.

Sorry for the long post, but any suggestions are appreciated. Also would like to hear about other first consults with Defy.

You're in good hands at Defy. Make sure to get a complete thyroid work up done beyond just the TSH lab. Hypothyroidism has many of the same symptoms of Hypogonadism.

My first consult with Defy was great. They are open-minded and they don't want to push you onto a cookie cutter protocol. I highly recommend Tri-Mix as well, as going on TRT did little to help me with ED where for other guys it was a huge help.

Definitely agree with Gene on getting the thorough thyroid test ASAP as well.

Thanks guys. Added a question about Hypothyroidism testing to my list.

ERO, glad to hear that your first consult was great

I'm excited, just wish I had started the process much earlier. Now I am focused on solutions.
