Empower T3/T4 thyroid med

Had my thyroid tested as I have been tired, cant loose belly fat. Results are
t3- 2.7, range of 2-4.4
t4- 1.45, Range of .82-1.77
Was put on empower t3/t4 thyroid med, 1/2 grain a day.

For those who have taken the Empower compounded t4/t3 when did you notice any effects? I have only been on for 10 days, I know will take longer just want to see how others responded.

I would guess 6 weeks is the standard. You have to think about the half life of the med and T4 is long acting and takes time to build up. I have a wife that's been on thyroid meds for 25 years. If you think something magical is going to happen you can forget it. I have seen under dosing to overdosing. Once you get to overdosing you will begin to question all the BS you read about thyroid treatment. I am to the point that I may agree with some of the Iodine hot shots that when all supporting supplements are there T4 only and combo treatment with T4/T3 is no different in most. There is a lot of silver tongued devils out there trying to make money off of you.
