Defy vs Empower are they separate?

I'm still new here so I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere.

I was under the impression that Defy medical clinic sent its patient prescriptions to Empower and they were filled and shipped there. But now im seeing that Defy has a medical store where customers can order meds there.

So does a patient Choose where to have their prescriptions filled, or are they generally filled thru Defy?

Yes they are separate. Defy medical gets there products from compounding pharmacies, I believe they use Empower Pharmacy and Hallandale Pharmacy. They will also give a patient a script to take the their own Pharmacy if they like but there is a cost involved.
