Should we expect compounded Test to drastically increase in price due to the tariffs?

How real of a possibility is it that compounding pharmacies may lose access to test raws?

I wouldn't panic. Particularly for compounded testosterone, the price of the raw material has to be a fairly small fraction of the end product price. Only somewhat more so for UGL.

For example, one AI puts the bulk price per kilogram of testosterone cypionate at $500-$2,000. Via Defy Medical the Empower price (5 mL @ 200 mg/mL = 1 gram) is currently $68. The high end price for this gram of raw material is $2. Therefore if tariffs double the raw material price and the full increase is passed along to end users then the price rises from $68 to $70 for the 5 mL vial. That is trivial.

I would also expect India to step in and start filling gaps that arise from issues with China. I also hope that we start moving towards a system in which we’re more self-reliant when it comes to medications, similar to what we’re doing with energy. Food, energy, and medications are all things a country should be able to provide for itself for the most part…or at least things a country like America should be able to generate given our resources.

What is the UGL situation you refer to with the Chinese production facilities for the raw powder? I would not expect any interruption in supply to last long. There is so much $$ involved driven by worldwide demand
