Clomid and anastrozole

36yr old male prescribed 15mg clomid and .05mg anastrozole ED by physician. Around day 4 noticed zero libido, i really had to work to pump one out. Stopped anastrazole and and three days later im getting morning wood again. Is it safe to continue taking clomid by itself or should i just talk to the doctor and get test instead. Her thought was see if clomid and anastrazole work so im not dependent on test for life. Thoughts?

You can certainly discard the anastrozole if you're doing well without it. It has no impact on the success or failure of your Clomid restart. Clomid treatment can cause estradiol levels to soar, thus impacting libido and erectile function. However, estradiol is not an enemy - it's a needed hormone for men and women. Push it too low and you'll feel miserable.
