Can tanning increase the risk of testicular cancer?

Good point on MT. A lot of guys using this peptide could be in for big trouble.

That's why EVERYONE should do the 23andMe.com test:
http://blog.23andme.com/23andme-res...may-affect-testicular-cancer-risk-identified/

Look in your RAW DATA and punch in this:
Gene: KITLG

SNP: rs995030

or just click the link the article which will take you right to your result. I am GG which means I am homozygous (highly susceptible). http://www.snpedia.com/index.php/Rs995030(G;G)

The G version of rs995030 is very common in Caucasians. 80% of white males are at risk for developing TC if they get a tan.

I have been an avid tanner/sunworshipper for years to this day. Was about to go out to get my daily sunbath when I caught this post! I refuse to use self-tanners as they have been shown to cause issues themselves plus they make you look like shit! I refuse to stop tanning because I love the look, the feel, and the health benefits. There are always offsetting factors to SNPs (epigenetics).

There are tumor marker tests we can take to monitor in high-risk males:
http://www.cancer.net/multimedia/vi...w-germ-cell-tumor-markers-timothy-gilligan-md
- Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG), β-Subunit, Quantitative, Serum
- Lactic Acid Dehydrogenase (LD)
- α-Fetoprotein (AFP), Serum, Tumor Marker

Also:
- self-exam
- MRI
-CT scan
-PET scan
-Ultrasound
