Since I can't find Bacteriostatic water, I want to make my own from sterile water and Benzyl Alcohol.
I have purchased a 10 ml vial of sterile water for injection and already have a 50ml vial of Benzyl Alcohol so this was my plan.
To make 10ml of bacteriostatic water I will draw 9.91 ml of sterile water and put that into an empty sterile vial then draw 0.09ml of Benzyl alcohol and inject that into the 9.91cc sterile vial. If my calculations are correct then I should end up with a 0.9% Bacteriostatic water solution.
Is there anything I might be missing? I am not comfortable with using distilled water that is why I purchased sterile water in a vial.
