My insurer, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of MD, sent me this generic version of testim. Does anyone have experience with this version? I'm a bit hesitant because I've been so very pleased with the regular version.

Smells different

To me, the smell is completely different. It doesn't have that sweet smell so strongly associated with Testim. It smells like alcohol. I liked the smell. As the smell is different, I cannot help but wonder what else is different.

Michael,
I have been using the generic for two months and have seen no difference. Also have BCBS of CT and am saving about $100 per year in copays. Thought the scent would be different but still get women and some men asking me what I am wearing. I just tell them its musk. My wife doesn't even notice anymore. Have been using for ten years.
