Arimidex and e2/dht?

Its plausible and sounds good on paper, logically it makes sense that the less you convert to E would be more Free T and/or DHT but that's not often the case in the real world. Many guys can seem to have deficient 5AR or other enzyme activity in the hormonal cascade.

We also have to remember that for each 10 pg/mL of estradiol production we block we are only saving about 1 ng/dL of testosterone. So under TRT, without the strong indirect effects on testosterone production, AI use should result in only relatively small changes in testosterone and DHT. I guess in theory the estradiol suppression could also reduce SHBG, which in turn could cause total testosterone to drop.
