2 weeks into new TRT protocol, and...

I had previously tried a multi-month Clomid restart that gave me some good days punctuated with very bad days(mood swings, acne, irritability, etc). After the cessation of the restart protocol, my levels crashed a bit lower than they were pre-clomid.

Im now exactly 2 weeks into my new TRT regimen with Defy on a Monday morning/Thursday evening Test-Cyp/HCG schedule and I cannot begin to explain how transformative this treatment is already making me feel, even though we are at the very early stages of what likely will be a life-long marathon.

I went to work, as in physically visited my office Wednesday afternoon, for the first time in many weeks and put in a solid 4 hours of work. Thursday, I was in the office all day and was able to work and attack problems like I haven't been able to in many many months. My mood is extremely positive, so much so that my wife asked me if I was sleeping with someone on the side (side note, id historically exhibit great moods after sex but it only lasted 24 hrs and then back to the dumps i went...). I laughed, said no, why would you ask? "This entire week you have been happier than Ive seen you in months. Smiling, laughing, conversing. And we haven't had sex in over a week!" My sleep quality is also markedly improved, yet I don't feel the need to take my melatonin. Initially she was concerned with my protocol change, having been inundated with the negative views of testosterone and stories of roid-rage from the media. Her comments now are a complete 180.

I realize its still early days, but am hoping/praying that this positive trend continues to the 4th/6th week and beyond. I feel like some significant mental/emotional/physical clouds are parting, and am truly appreciative of the efforts of Dr Saya and Dr Crisler and the rest of the fine folks at Defy.

That's awesome - congratulations!

I agree on the work productivity angle. When I've been at what I feel are optimal test levels, I'm a machine at work - cranking out deliverables...very high productivity. When I'm at low-T levels, I find I'm not productive, not motivated, and generally not as good a "thinker" and not as creative.

Since I'm a self-employed consultant - Low-T directly impacts my income, not just my well being and general health.

Glad to hear early success with Defy - I start with them next week!

You have a real interesting story. Do you have an update on your condition?

apologies, missed your question.

current update - I'm now in week 6 and feel fantastic. still taking my shots monday morning/thursday evening. my weight is up 8 lbs, but I'm attributing that to a relaxed carb-filled diet on a spring break trip with my family. the weight is slowly coming back down. my facial skin is a bit oilier now and i have had one or two pimples. i am using face soap and wipes that both contain 2% salicylic acid. i might try out nizoral soap to try to combat the light acne.

time wise im halfway to the 12 week point where we will re-draw labs and check numbers.

feelings wise - fantastic mood that lasts for days, morning wood, solid strong boners (although my ejaculate seems to be a bit less than before), a sex drive that my wife is taking advantage of 4X weekly, and I'm not feeling smashed after my workouts. i have changed nothing in my diet or training regimen outside of beginning my treatment. i am kicking absolute ass at work which folks are glad to see. it reminds my boss and colleagues of my performance 5+ yrs ago before my decline.

so far, so good! will continue to report progress!
