I was listening to a podcast with Mark Bell and they discussed how nandrolone can have permanent effects in down regulating the serotonergic system particularly in younger men. Was wondering what could be done to mitigate these effects if anybody has any experience on the topic.
I'm curious to know whether or not long-term HPTA shutdown, or some other mechanism from long-term TRT, has any effect on brain serotonin levels, serotonin transmitters, or the brain's ability to uptake serotonin.
Anyone have any insight here?

What effects, if any, does TRT have on neurotransmitters, particularly on serotonin?
I know that in the initial stages of TRT, there is a pronounced effect on dopamine - I have been told that this is what causes the "honeymoon" that many guys experience.
