I'm 38 years old. I've been on TRT for about 2 years now. I only take 100mg of test cypionate 1x/week. My lab numbers are high and my cholesterol is through the roof. I'm worried I'm doing something wrong.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Quest tops off at 155pg\ml (15.5ng/dl) when it is generally considered (on this forum at least) that free t should be 20-30 ng/ml. So who’s right? Should we be aiming for a max of 15.5ng/dl?
Hey Guys,
I received two different sets of free testosterone labs and am trying to make sense of them. The first was LabCorp's Equilibrium FT test and the second was their Direct FT test. What is the difference and which labs would be more accurate in this case? For reference my SHBG is 20 and...
Why can’t all major labs standardize and ranges? It’s really frustrating when you use multiple labs like Labcorp and or Quest. Isn’t there some kind of industry Association that can set the standards And methods for testing? Are use Labcorp most of the time and Quest sometimes and mayo clinic...
Testing peak vs trough, even with a trough in natural ranges, around 829, my peak is at about 1200. I know that technically this may be the top end of the old range, but naturally, most men never achieve this number, even with high shbg.
With my trough lower, around 650, my peak stays in range...
For those of you that are on testosterone injections only/no HCG (or were at some point), I'm just curious...
What is your weekly dose, your shot frequency, IM/SubQ and also where this puts your TT and FreeT #s.
Also, what TT and FT #s make you FEEL your best?
Just trying to get as much info...
Morning Gents,
So I have been running Empower RX Compound cream for I guess a little over a year now Id say. Mine is 200mg/ml and I just do one click. From my understanding absorption was only around 10%, but pharmacist today said you absorb most of it? Thoughts? All the time I thought I'd be...
This is in reference to the study Harmonized Reference Ranges for Circulating Testosterone Levels in Men of Four Cohort Studies in the United States and Europe. which brought down the lab range of total T to 264 - 916 in April of 2017.
There is a follow up letter to the editor in November 2017...
My total testosterone is 886 ng/dl (900 is the top of the ref range), shbg = 67.67 nmol/l ( 18,30-54,10), albumin = 5.3 g/dL;
I also tested my free testosterone and the lab result was 12.0 ng/l (8,30-40,10). If I convert it to ng/dl, that will be 1.2 ng/dl. This means that my FT/TT = 0.14%...
trough on 2x weekly protocol t cyp IM , draw 4/13/2018. My endo: "Your Free T is way to high" He always says that. Too high for what? Hematocrit came down on its own from the month prior. No phlebotomy. IMO one can hit fairly close to where they need to be by feel alone. Granted, E2 is...
