Good job to you and your wife on how you have handled this situation. We all make bad decisions and sometimes we just have to “drop back and punt”. Depression is a serious issue.
I almost lost my son when he was 19 due to depression. I remember feeling helpless and guilty that I had not...
Here is the article.
Free serum testosterone level in male rats treated with Tribulus alatus extracts. - PubMed - NCBI
Like everything else on the internet I tend to take it with a grain of salt.
Thanks. I am aware of what Tribulus can and cannot do but there are some decent studies that shows that the Alatus version of Tribulus actually does effect T levels (in mice anyway). Carl Lanore briefly mentioned it on his podcast last week.
I’ve been looking online for a source for the less seen form of Tribulus (Tribulus Alatus) but so far have not been able to find one.
Any help appreciated.
I’m 49. Your numbers are similar to mine. I had similar symptoms also.
With a natural Total T of 600, I’d be hesitant to start TRT until you explore a few other options. You might be raise your levels a little bit especially if you are lacking certain vitamins/minerals.
For me my symptoms...
So I guess I will try a couple of supplements that I haven’t used before to see if I can boost T levels a bit and/or lower SHGB.
Tongkat Ali and Stinging Nettle root are two that seem to have a large following.
Would not rule out trying Clomid or something similar.
Any advice on these...

I have a two hour drive to the nearest Lab Corp location so I will try to time that around my business travel schedule.
48 year old male. Pretty good shape. 6' 190 lbs.

A question for the doctors here...Was wondering if a wearable device could be designed to monitor T levels in real time?
Something similar to the Freestyle Libre that is used to monitor blood sugar levels.
It transmits the data to the iPhone via Bluetooth.
Seems like this might...
Labs show T 387 and E 27.
I am going to to order the more detailed Men’s hormone blood test and discuss with my primary doctor next week.
Then it will be time to get down to business.

Love this site !! So much info.
