Had my scan and it came out normal. My Endo feels that I may have Familial hypocalciuric hypercalcemia. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge regarding this disorder?
I am feeling quite a bit better since starting T3. I still have some muscle soreness but nothing like before. The naltrexone combo has helped me lose about 25 lbs but its effectiveness has worn off so I discontinued it when I started the T3. Allowing it to completely get out of my system before...
Methylphenidate, Bupropion, naltrexone, amlodipine, lisinopril-hctz (may be cause of hypercalcemia), metformin, glipizide, T. cyp, anastrozole (.25mg q3.5d), just started T3, Jarrow 1-2-3 multi, vitamin D 5k one day 10k the next, fish oil 1200 mg 3 x day..... rediculous list I realize
Are you stating that your TT and/or FT are above the ref. range? If so, back off....at a TT of 14XX i felt like absolute garbage and libido was nonexistent. I feel better at 900 than 1100. Just a thought, hope it helps.
I think the last one I had was about a year ago and levels were normal but I will get them to run it again. Endo is going to have me do a sestamibi scan for parathyroid growth/s. I decided yesterday afternoon to go ahead and take the T3 and this morning I woke up energized, in a good mood (more...
Calcium keeps increasing. From what I've read PTH should be close to zero when calcium is elevated. Wondering what effect hypercalcemia has in the gym? I am constantly sore and have had numerous injuries. Can I safely say this is due to hypercalcemia?
Thank you all for your responses!!!!
Thank you kindly for your input. It's greatly appreciated. Doing PTH, Magnesium and w/e other labs she's ordered this am. I know ferritin is good I am a carrier for Hemocromatosis (sic) but it's been checked a few times and is fine. This is the second cortisol test and both have been normal but...
IGF-1 and IGFBP3 are well into normal ranges so she is cancelling stim test. Calcium is elevated for the fourth consecutive blood draw so she is looking at PTH. Does anyone have experience with Hyperparathyroidism?
Neil, thanks for your response. I'm not certain what age you are but I am now seeing a Pediatric Endo and couldn't be happier. She really takes the time to listen. I know many Ped Endo's see "older" patients (I am 38). Just a thought as having to fight to get T3 testing is absurd.
My GP wanted me to bump up to 10000 iu w/ the exact same numbers. As Gene said you are supra. I would be surprised if Dr. Saya keeps you at 200 given your symptoms/side effects. FWIW I had very similar side effects when my TT and FT were elevated.
Saw my Endo today and she is doing a GH stim test as she is concerned with the injuries as well. I have tried all of the OTC's and nothing seems to help.....I appreciate all of your responses...it's depressing to get injured all the time. I have been extremely careful with form but admittedly I...
I have been on TRT for roughly a year now and have had numerous injuries in the Gym. My GH is normal I have no idea why this keeps happening. I am significantly stronger than ever before but the frequency of injuries is alarming. Does anyone have any ideas?
I think it really depends on how much one's weight fluctuates. This is one of my issues with TRT as I have several issues; obesity, diabetes, and severe sleep apnea that can lead to hypogonadism and I'm constantly having to adjust doses. 90 days seems realistic as long as one isn't crash...
Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions it's greatly appreciated! I suspect the injury issue is true. I have tested supra several times while adjusting T and have also had several injuries.
If I recall correctly, you recently posted you have just figured out that you have sleep apnea. You need to be patient and work on the sleep apnea. Find a mask that is comfortable and give it time. By the time they found my sleep apnea all of my organs had begun to shut down and I was on death's...
Did anyone stop to figure out why you had low T to begin with? Are you overweight, diabetic.....? What was your PSA? What was your estradiol? By all means if you opt to get off of T ask to run HCG for awhile
I am one of the few that doesn't benefit from SubQ. Makes sure you get tested at least 4 weeks after the new protocol and that your numbers haven't tanked as mine did. Gl and hope it works for you. It's certainly easier and less painful!
